Nintendo today announced that Pikmin 3 will be launching in stores and in the eShop this Sunday, August 4th, exclusively for the Wii U.
Pikmin 3 tells the story of three space explorers – Alph, Brittany and Charlie – who crash land on an alien planet and must collect fruit for their starving home planet. To accomplish their goal of collecting fruit, the explorers must gather and lead an army of different Pikmin creatures, battle the local wildlife and work to solve puzzles, all before the sun goes down at the end of each day.
Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Watch Dogs highlighting the numerous nominations and awards it received at this year’s E3.
Watch Dogs will be available on November 19th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC, and for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a date to be revealed.
Electronic Arts and Liverpool Football Club today announced a new three-year partnership that will make EA Sports the Club’s Official Football Video Gaming Partner commencing from the start of the 2013-14 Barclays Premier League season.
EA Sports has also captured 360 degree 3D digital head scan images of the Liverpool FC team, ensuring accurate visuals of players including Steven Gerrard, Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho, which will be featured in FIFA 14 when it releases on September 24th.
Activision and Treyarch today announced that the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance DLC Pack is now available on PlayStation 3 and PC for $14.99, or free for Season Pass holders.
Additionally, six new Call of Duty: Black Ops II Personalization Packs will be available for PS3 and PC players on August 22nd. The packs are Glam, Coyote, Aqua, Pack-a-Punch, Breach, and Rogue, and will be available for $1.99 each.
Sony Online Entertainment today announced the next chapter in the DC Universe Online story — Sons of Trigon. DCUO’s eighth DLC pack will enable players to battle alongside Wonder Woman or her adversary, Circe, in new high-level multiplayer and solo adventures, as they race to confront Trigon on a quest for power or peace. DCUO’s 11th Power, Celestial, will be introduced with the new DLC, granting Blessed or Cursed abilities focused on healing, as well as New Legends PvP characters Donna Troy and Cheetah. The new DLC will be available for download on the PC and PlayStation 3 later this fall.
Sons of Trigon DLC picks up where the Sins of the Father storyline left off. Through blood ritual, Trigon escaped his dimension and was preparing to attack the Earth. However, he became trapped in a nightmare version of Gotham City, a wasteland filled with sin. In this new DLC, Heroes and Villains will explore these wastelands as they race to confront Trigon and his sinful sons. As the story unfolds, players will have access to an assortment of new multiplayer adventures, solo missions, power and gear.
