In this latest instalment, Game Director Piers Jackson, Art Director Chris Gregory, Lead Designer Gareth Hughes, Principal Audio Designer Matthew Florianz and Principal Animator Felix Ilsley explores how you can shape your own narrative in Elite Dangerous: Odyssey with the choices you make. Elite Dangerous: Odyssey arrives in early 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Elite Dangerous: Horizons Free for All Players Starting October 27th

Frontier Developments revealed a major free update to Elite Dangerous today. Elite Dangerous: Horizons will be folded in to the base game for free for all Elite Dangerous owners on October 27th. Players will receive the complete Horizons experience via a free update to Elite Dangerous on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players who previously purchased Horizons will receive an exclusive Azure paint job compatible with all 41 ships currently in game.

Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, including Warzone, Launches

Season Six of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, including Warzone, has officially kicked off. A new fast-travel system will add another layer of strategy to survival in Verdansk. Also arriving at this season’s launch is a fresh Battle Pass system, complete with two free weapons and two season-headlining Operators, along with four multiplayer maps for every type of combat; from 2v2 Gunfight and 6v6 core play to expanded 10v10 and Ground War matches.

DIRT 5 – Cape Town Stadium Racing

Codemasters has released the latest DIRT 5 gameplay featuring the first look at a race through South Africa’s Cape Town Stadium. DIRT 5 will release on November 6th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, followed by PlayStation 5 later this year. DIRT 5 will be a launch title on Xbox Series S/X, coming November 10th. A Google Stadia version will release in early 2021.

Tekken 7 Reveals Season 4 Content

Bandai Namco today revealed additional gameplay improvements and new content for Tekken 7 in its Season 4 update. Kicking-off the updates are the return of a 2nd generation Kunimitsu and a brand new Vermilion Gates stage, both of which will be available in Fall 2020.

Along with Kunimitsu and the Vermilion Gates updates, there will be an array of free updates coming to Tekken 7, including:

  • New Moves: All Tekken 7 characters will be receiving new moves to add to their arsenal of martial arts skills.
  • Updated UI: More streamlined user interface
  • Online Play Enhancements: Response improvement / Wi-Fi indicator
  • Tekken Prowess: A new way for players to see their Tekken skills through points scoring. Tekken Prowess is calculated through a player’s highest owned rank, total rank of all characters, play stats, and the number of matches played.
  • Rank System Renewal: A new top level rank will be added to Tekken 7; those who reach this new highest level rank will be given the title of “Tekken God Omega”.

Scarlet Nexus Reveals New Playable Character

A new playable character has been revealed for Scarlet Nexus this past weekend during a digital Tokyo Game Show presentation. Kasane Randall mixes her projectile weapons with psychic powers in her fight against The Others. Players can select either Kasane or Yuito at the start of the game to experience their perspective of events happening in Scarlet Nexus. Finishing both storylines will provide the full Scarlet Nexus story.

Available December 15th, this digital collection made up of The Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Legend II, and Final Fantasy Legend III is packed with brand new features, including speed boosts and a retro display mode.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires Announced

Koei Tecmo today announced that Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is coming in early 2021 to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Combining the 1 vs. 1,000 action of Dynasty Warriors with the addition of strategic elements, including unit command, Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires sets players on a quest to conquer ancient China by both sword and strategy.

The Medium – “It Came From the Rage” Trailer

Bloober Team today premiered a brand new trailer for its upcoming psychological horror title, The Medium. Entitled “It Came From the Rage,” the trailer offers the first glimpse into the dark origins of The Maw, the nightmarish entity and main antagonist voiced by Troy Baker, alongside a closer look at Sadness, a mysterious masked girl who resides at the abandoned Niwa Hotel.

The Medium will launch on Xbox Series X and PC via Steam during Holiday 2020.
