Five New Toy Boxes for Disney Infinity

Disney Infinity fans can continue their adventures with five new custom Toy Boxes, available now for download free of charge on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.

Here are the five free Toy Boxes available now for download:

  • Cave of Wonders Race – Race through the Cave of Wonders and Aladdin’s Agrabah Castle. Compete against Cars characters or other players.
  • Super Sidescroll – Trigger the side scrolling camera to start. Then jump and bash through a classic game level.
  • ESPN Speedway – Rev those engines! Race friends around the stadium loop, brake for a pit stop and celebrate with a victory lap.
  • Hot Lava – Rope bridges are the only thing between players and flowing lava in this treacherous Toy Box.
  • Wrestling Arena – Want to become the Disney Infinity combat champ? Battle friends in two tricked out wrestling rings.

Players can download the new Toy Boxes by selecting “Toy Box” from the Disney Infinity Main Menu and then select “Toy Box Share” and “Disney’s Toy Boxes.” Once there you will see a list of all the featured Toy Boxes and can choose one to download.

Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar Announced

Kalypso Media Digital today announced the upcoming release of Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar for PC. Developed by Longbow Digital Arts, Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar will challenge players’ strategic battlefield skills as they manage huge armies through the historical battles of first century BC. In this, the sequel to Hegemony Gold: Wars of Ancient Greece, players will wage war on battlefields rendered by an upgraded graphics engine as they strive to dominate the known world – via conquest, or by starving out their enemies.

Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar will be available on PC in early 2014.

Metro: Last Light ‘Tower Pack’ DLC Unveiled

Deep Silver today announced that the ‘Tower Pack’, the second piece of DLC for Metro: Last Light, will be available on Steam, Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on September 3rd.

Players have to fight their way up through a heavily guarded tower, a virtual combat simulator. Each level is increasingly difficult – packed with hordes of enemies, mutants and other deadly threats. The best players in this combat simulator will need to master Metro’s hand-made weaponry and combat mechanics in order to reach the top of the global leaderboards.

The Tower Pack will cost $4.99 and is the second of four add-on content packs to be included in the Metro: Last Light Season Pass.

War Thunder – CGI Trailer

Gaijin Entertainment has released a CGI trailer for its MMO-combat game War Thunder, available on PC and coming to PlayStation 4 as a launch title. The video, called “War Thunder Heroes,” encompasses Gaijin’s vision of the game, where host of aircrafts, ground vehicles and naval forces are locked in a full-scale global conflict over WW2 theaters of war.

Majesco Forms Indie Publishing Label

Majesco today announced a newly formed label, Midnight Club. The division will focus on the independent games market while offering support to independent developers shipping products on digital distribution platforms like Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC downloadable sites.

Midnight City’s initial roster of games slated for digital distribution include:

Arma 3 – Community Guide: Snipers & Launchers

Bohemia Interactive has released a brand new episode in their Arma 3 Community Guide video series. Taking a closer look at two specialized infantry roles, Andrew Gluck (better known as Dslyecxi) from ShackTactical covers a number of tips for sniper and anti-tank/anti-aircraft teams in Arma 3.

Sanctum 2 Coming to PSN in September

Coffee Stain Studios announced today that Sanctum 2, the sequel to the hybrid tower-defense and first-person shooter game Sanctum, will release September 10th on the PlayStation Network. The PlayStation Network version will include the patch that features a higher tower cap, tower resources for all players in co-op multiplayer games and increased tower bases gained in each wave.

Bound by Flame Coming to PS4

Bound by Flame, the new RPG from Spiders Studios, was recently unveiled Gamescom in Cologne, and is set for release in early 2014. Previously announced for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Focus Home Interactive today confirmed that the game will also be released on PlayStation 4.
