Today, Disney Interactive is encouraging Disney Infinity players to enter the Halloween Toy Box Challenge and submit their spookiest Toy Box creations. Players can submit their best haunted house, pumpkin patch, trick-or-treat parade or anything else that is Halloween-themed for consideration.
Players can submit their creation for consideration by Wednesday, October 16th for a chance to be featured globally. The winners will be announced on Thursday, October 24th. Featured Toy Boxes will be chosen by Disney and available for download on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.

Nintendo today announced that the Nintendo 2DS will be launching this Saturday, October 12th for $129.99. Designed as an accessible entry point into the world of Nintendo handheld video games, the Nintendo 2DS maintains many of the same hardware features as Nintendo 3DS, like touch-screen controls, StreetPass, online multiplayer functionality and the ability to download games.
Without any hinges, the durable Nintendo 2DS is an especially perfect first-time system for kids. Available in red and blue, Nintendo 2DS plays all Nintendo 3DS games in 2D. In addition, Nintendo 2DS is backward compatible and can play the existing library of Nintendo DS games. Two carrying cases in either red or blue will also be available at launch for $12.99 each.
Atlus has released a new AquaPazza trailer showcasing Team Utawarerumono. The fighting game will be available on November 19th exclusively for PlayStation 3.

Valve today announced the Steam Dev Days conference, which will be held in Seattle, Washington in January, 2014.
Steam Dev Days is a by invitation, two-day conference where video game professionals can meet in a relaxed, off the record environment to share design and industry expertise, participate in roundtable discussions, and attend lectures by industry veterans.
Topics will include game economies, virtual reality, Linux/OpenGL, user-generated content, and more. Developers will also have the opportunity to test-drive and provide feedback on Steam OS, prototype Steam Machines, and Steam Controllers.
