Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios today announced Shadowmantle, the second free expansion Module to Neverwinter, the free-to-play action MMORPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms universe. Featuring the new Hunter Ranger class, Shadowmantle releases later this year. In this second free update, players travel to Neverwinter Wood’s’ deepest region, discover new artifacts, and even choose a second paragon path.
DICE today announced that Battlefield 4 is now available in stores nationwide for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, as well as for digital download on Origin. Console players can start the battle today on current-gen and upgrade to next-gen for $9.99 when those systems launch in November. Players will also be able to transfer their multiplayer stats at launch of the next-gen consoles.
Activision and Rovio Entertainment today announced that Angry Birds Star Wars is now available in stores nationwide for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS. Angry Birds Star Wars is also planned to launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 when the next-gen consoles arrive in November.
2K today announced that WWE 2K14 is now available in stores nationwide for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Complementing the game’s launch, 2K also announced the WrestleMania 30 contest, in which players may submit creative screenshots of in-ring WWE 2K14 action – inspired by sought-after WrestleMania 30 matches – for a chance to win an all-expense-paid trip for two to WrestleMania 30, scheduled for Sunday, April 6th at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Rising Star Games today announced that Beyblade: Evolution for the Nintendo 3DS is now available in stores nationwide. The game is available in two versions: a standalone edition and, in collaboration with Hasbro, a collector’s edition which includes an exclusive, six-piece Beyblade Wing Pegasus 90WF Battle Top previously unavailable outside of Japan.
Rising Star Games today announced that Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut is now available on Steam for PC for $24.99.
Starting November 1st, Wii U owners who own a Wii Balance Board accessory will be able to download a free trial version of Wii Fit U from the Nintendo eShop. The trial software is not an abbreviated version of the game – it’s the full Wii Fit U experience. The trial will be downloadable from the eShop between November 1st, and January 31rd, and will work for 31 days from when it is first played.
Any trial participant who buys a Fit Meter accessory and syncs it to the game will be able to continue playing Wii Fit U forever. The Fit Meter has many of the same features of modern activity meters, and people can purchase one at select retailers and online at a SRP of $19.99.
Starting on November 22nd, Xbox One’s launch day, fans can download a free trial experience of Kinect Sports Rivals’ wake racing, unlock in-game rewards and get ahead of the competition before the full game launches in Spring 2014.

Activision has released a new Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer revealing Extinction, an all-new 1-4 player cooperative game mode featuring a blend of survival action, FPS base defense, scavenging and class leveling.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be available on November 5th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, and for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at their respective launches.
