Namco Bandai today announced that Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures for the Nintendo 3DS is now available in stores nationwide. Following the console launch from last week, the 3DS version of the game features a side-scrolling adventure.
Team Ninja kicks off several weeks of festivities complete with sports-themed costumes including Tecmo Bowl uniforms, new Emerald, Ruby and Topaz grades, limited time in-game and free content including the classic Tecmo Bowl Throwback, all in celebration of over half a million downloads of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate: Core Fighters.
Just in time for football season, Tecmo Bowl uniforms for Bass, Bayman, Leon, Rachel, Tina and Zack are available for $1.99 each. For PlayStation 3 only, sets with both the character and Tecmo Bowl costume are available for $4.99 each. As a bonus, Tecmo Bowl Throwback ($9.99 value) and DOA5U: Core Fighters are included with the purchase of any of the six Tecmo Bowl costumes or the full Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Champion set ($16.99) through November 25th (PlayStation 3 only). Aksys Games today announced that BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Limited Edition, the newest installment of the BlazBlue 2D fighting game series, will be available for pre-order in retail outlets for $79.99. The BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Limited Edition will include not only a 40-page art book, official soundtrack CD, and small figurine of Rachel Alucard (“nendoroid”), but will also contain two North American exclusives: a fighting moves poster and a special features Blu-ray disc. BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma will be available in March exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
Kalypso Media today announced ‘Beyond The Sea’, the first major add-on for the economy simulator Rise of Venice. From Marseilles to Portugal, the add-on provides players with a whole new challenge by expanding the game world with 13 cities to explore and trade with.
Also included are all new residence missions and challenging new Doge tasks, which will see your family playing a more significant role in your position and plans. ‘Beyond The Sea’ also allows players to command a completely new class of ship – the NAO: the famous ship type in which Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492.
‘Beyond The Sea’ will be available to download for PC from Steam and other digital portals on November 21st for $19.99.
Activision and Infinity Ward today announced that Call of Duty: Ghosts is now available in stores nationwide for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The game will also be available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at their respective launches. Call of Duty: Ghosts players on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 who plan on picking up the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 can play today and upgrade to the next generation when they are ready for $9.99.
Also available today is the Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass. The Season Pass lets gamers access all four Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC Map Packs to be released in 2014 at a bundled discount. The DLC Map Packs will be available on Xbox Live first.
2K and Firaxis today announced that Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies is now available to download for PC on Steam for $4.99.
Majesco today announced that Zumba Fitness World Party is now available in stores nationwide for Kinect for Xbox 360 and Wii U. The game will also be available November 22nd as part of the day-one launch lineup for Xbox One.
Daedalic Entertainment today announced that Koboldgames’ post-apocalyptic point-and-click adventure, Journey of a Roach, is now available to download for PC on Steam for $14.99. The Steam version also includes the downloadable soundtrack.
Revolution Software today confirmed that Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse will release for PC on December 4th. In addition, the developer revealed that this Broken Sword adventure will run over two episodes, concluding in January.
The first part of the game will debut on PC through Steam, GOG.com, and Revolution’s own website store on December 4th, with a PlayStation Vita version to follow later in the month. The concluding episode of the game will be published on PC in January. Each episode is priced at $14.99 or $24.99 to purchase both episodes together (if both episodes are pre-ordered, buyers get an additional 20% off for a total price of $19.99).
Focus Home Interactive today announced that Mighty Rocket Studios’ 2.5D side-scroller, Final Exam is now available to download on PC and PlayStation Network. It will also be available on Xbox Live Arcade this Friday, November 8th.
