LocoCycle Coming to Xbox 360 and Steam on Valentine’s Day

Twisted Pixel Games today announced that the launch date for LocoCycle on Xbox 360 will be this Valentine’s Day, February 14th. In addition, a Steam version of the game is due out at the same time.

Tropico 5 Coming to PS4

Kalypso Media today announced that Tropico 5, the next installment in the city-builder series, is currently in development for PlayStation 4. Tropico 5 will see the series come to the PlayStation platform for the first time and will take full advantage of the features of the PlayStation 4 hardware and controller. Kalypso will confirm a release date in due course.

The Elder Scrolls Online Imperial Edition Unveiled

Bethesda Softworks today announced that it will release The Elder Scrolls Online Imperial Edition — a premium collector’s edition for The Elder Scrolls Online. The Imperial Edition will be made available in digital and limited physical formats. Both standard and collector’s editions are now available for pre-order through participating retailers and pre-purchase from the newly launched, online store: store.elderscrollsonline.com.

In addition to the game, The Elder Scrolls Online Physical Imperial Edition includes:

  • Molag Bal Statue – A 12” statue featuring Molag Bal, Daedric Prince of domination and enslavement.
  • The Improved Emperor’s Guide to Tamriel – A 224-page illustrated guide annotated by the Imperial scholar, Flaccus Terentius.
  • Physical Map of Tamriel – A 21” x 26” printed map detailing Alliance-controlled zones and the ultimate conquest: Cyrodiil.
  • Steelbook Packaging – A limited edition steel case decorated in the color of the Imperials.
  • Exclusive Collection of Digital Content

All those who pre-order or pre-purchase either the Imperial Edition or the Standard Edition in physical or digital formats will also receive The Explorer’s Pack bonus at launch, which includes: Scuttler vanity pet, four bonus treasure maps, and the ability to play as any of the nine races in any Alliance.

Early Access bonuses will also be offered to those pre-ordering or pre-purchasing the PC version. A five-day early access bonus will be offered to those who pre-purchase the Digital Imperial Edition or the Digital Standard Edition through The Elder Scrolls Online Store. Additional early access programs are also available through participating retailers.

To celebrate the announcement, Bethesda has released an all-new cinematic trailer – “The Arrival”. The Elder Scrolls Online will be available on April 4th for PC. Versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 will be arriving on retail shelves in June.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII – “Retro-spective” Trailer

Square Enix has released a new “Retro-spective” trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

In this latest trailer, players will be able to look back on the stories of Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2 that shaped Lightning into the heroine she is today, as she and a band of unlikely heroes came together to save the world.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be available on February 11th for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 – Developer Diary #2

Konami has released a second development video for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, focusing on the open-world environment.

Featuring Dave Cox, Producer of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 and Enric Alvarez, Head of Development at MercurySteam, the five-minute video offers a glimpse of the game’s many settings, and how MercurySteam’s native Madrid provided inspiration for the locations. The pair also touch on the creatures and bosses that lurk within the city, and set the stage for the game’s climactic confrontation with Satan himself.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on February 25th.
