Disney Infinity “Disney Parks” Toy Box Challenge Winners

Disney Interactive today released the winners of the Disney Infinity “Disney Parks” Toy Box challenge. Players were tasked with re-creating their favourite Disney theme park attractions. Get ready to experience multiple attractions inspired by Fantasyland, drift down Typhoon Lagoon and go on a ride through Space Mountain. This week’s two winning Toy Boxes are versions of the popular Indiana Jones and Tower of Terror attractions.

The winning Toy Boxes are now available to download for Disney Infinity on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.

Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi Limited Edition Unveiled

Aksys Games announced today that Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi Limited Edition will include four unique items inspired by the Hakuoki series and the culture of Japan. The Limited Edition will contain a premium box made to look like Japanese lacquer, a comb and hair pin set evocative of the series, and a traditional Japanese love charm (omamori) with an embroidered Hakuoki “Kitan” stamp on the back.

Hakuoki: Stores of the Shinsengumi will be available for the Nintendo 3DS this Spring.

Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that in February, the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus members will include Outlast on PlayStation 4, Metro: Last Light, Remember Me and Payday 2 on PlayStation 3, and Street Fighter X Tekken and ModNation Racers on PlayStation Vita.

Pac-Man Museum Coming in February with Ms. Pac-Man Promo

Namco Bandai announced today that Pac-Man Museum will be releasing February 25th on PlayStation Network and February 26th on Xbox Live Arcade and Steam. Pac-Man Museum offers a classic collection of Pac-Man titles including Pac0Man Championship Edition, Pac-Man Battle Royale, and more.

For a limited time, Ms. Pac-Man will be included as a free promotional DLC item from launch until March 31st. After that, the endearing yellow character with a red bow and beauty mark will become paid DLC for $4.99.

Namco Bandai Announces Tenkai Knights: Brave Battle

Namco Bandai today announced that Tenkai Knights: Battle Brave for the Nintendo 3DS will be arriving this summer.

Based on the animated action TV series currently broadcasting on Cartoon Network, players will step into the role of one of the four Tenkai Knight heroes and engage in 2D robot combat in either the mission-based Story mode to live the Tenkai Knight experience or compete against up to three friends in the Versus mode to determine who is the strongest. In order to become the most powerful hero, players will be able to customize their robot’s parts, enter various unit modes to support allies in battle, and modify their battle styles to exploit their enemy’s weaknesses. With the fate of two worlds in their hands, players must master their Tenkai powers, dive into the thick of battle and defeat Vilius and The Corrupted once and for all.

Physical Version of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle Coming

Namco Bandai today announced that it will be manufacturing a limited run of physical copies for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle to be sold exclusively at Amazon.com and ClubNamco.com this spring exclusively on the PlayStation 3. In addition to the online retail edition, the game will be available digitally on the PlayStation Network.

The Western release of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle will feature a new mode not seen in the original Japanese release as well as balance changes applied to the game post-launch in Japan. The new Arcade Mode lets players fight through eight AI controlled opponents through a series of battles. On rare occasions, the Arcade Mode icon will switch to Harvest when connected online allowing players to earn more gold when they complete matches.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle will be released in 2014.

Ace Combat Infinity PSN Beta Begins Next Week

Climb in the cockpit on February 4th to participate in the Ace Combat Infinity beta on PlayStation Network. The Ace Combat Infinity beta will feature the following:

  • Beta begins on February 4th and runs through February 11th
  • Experience a variety of Campaign and Co-op missions
  • Choose your “Contracts” (Power-ups to augment missions)
  • Select from a variety of Skins and Emblems to customize your war plane
  • A special bonus “Test Pilot” Emblem will be awarded to all fighter pilots that participate in the February 4th beta

Short Peace and Longest Day Coming to North America

Namco Bandai today announced that Short Peace and Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day will be coming to North America in Spring 2014 exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Short Peace is the anime movie compilation featuring works by anime artist Katsuhiro Otomo and features Possessions, which was recently nominated for an Academy Award for best Animated Short Film, along with three other short films titled Combustible, Gambo, and A Farewell to Weapons. The fifth and final part of the Short Peace project, Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day, is a 2D side-scrolling action game directed by Goichi Suda of Grasshopper Manufacture and developed by Crispy’s Inc. who also developed the action game Tokyo Jungle.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z Special Edition Details, New Screens

Tecmo Koei today announced details for the Special Edition of Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, available at launch in limited supply for either the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 on March 18th. In addition, Team Ninja has released new screenshots of the cyber ninja Yaiba Kamikaze going toe-to-toe with the leader of the Hayabusa Clan, Ryu Hayabusa.

The Special Edition of Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will include an exclusive full color comic book by Dark Horse Comics, exclusive Yaiba-themed DLC costumes for both Ryu Hayabusa and Momiji for use in Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, and an original soundtrack in both the PS3 (via download voucher) and Xbox 360 (included on physical disc) versions.
