PlayStation Studios and Bluepoint Games today debuted a new gameplay trailer for Demon’s Souls ahead of the game’s release on November 12th alongside the launch of PlayStation 5.
Today, during their Q2 earnings report, Ubisoft announced that as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Far Cry 6 will be moved to the 2021-22 fiscal year. Originally planned for release on February 18th, Ubisoft confirmed that Far Cry 6 will now release in the first half of the fiscal year, between April 1st and September 30th. In addition, the upcoming Rainbow Six spinoff, Rainbow Six Quarantine, will also be moved to the 2021-22 fiscal year.

Ubisoft announced today that Watch Dogs: Legion, is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on PC, Stadia and Ubisoft+. Watch Dogs: Legion will also release on Xbox Series X | S and Amazon Luna on November 10th and digitally on PlayStation 5 alongside the console on November 12th. The physical version of the game on PS5 will be available on November 24th.

Bandai Namco today announced Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack, which brings two never-released-in-the-west Taiko no Tatsujin titles (Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure 1 & 2) to players outside of Japan, will be released in North America on December 3rd, only on Nintendo Switch.

Today, Square Enix launched the official teaser website for the latest standalone mainline title in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy XVI. The website showcases newly revealed artwork for the all-new action RPG, featuring the game’s protagonist, Clive Rosfield, as well as a set of character illustrations and vignettes that offer a glimpse of the connections between them. The website also presents a deeper look into the setting of Final Fantasy XVI, the realm of Valisthea, a land blessed in the light of the Mothercrystals — glittering mountains of crystal that tower over the world below.
Curve Digital today announced that multiplayer action-RPG The Ascent will release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in 2021, and will be playable with Xbox Game Pass on PC and console at launch. To celebrate the news, developer Neon Giant has put together a short video to showcase an update on development and illustrate a variety of features coming to The Ascent when it launches next year.
