Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Soulcalibur Lost Swords highlighting Hilde, a returning character from past Soulcalibur titles. Soulcalibur Lost Swords will be available this spring for digital download on the PlayStation 3.
Nintendo announced today that Yoshi’s New Island will be available in stores tomorrow, March 14th, for Nintendo 3DS. In his new platforming adventure, Yoshi once again moves from sidekick to hero and traverses a wide variety of worlds on a new island to help Baby Mario reunite with his kidnapped brother. Yoshi’s New Island is the third game in the series and features new transformations, new eggs, new art styles and a new multiplayer mode.
Sega has released a new Alien: Isolation trailer that goes behind-the-scenes in the studio, talking to the team creating the Alien. Alien: Isolation will be available in late 2014 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
A new Community Q&A video has been released for Stronghold Crusader 2, the castle sim sequel from Firefly Studios. Marketing Manager Nick Tannahill answers questions from players on everything from playable factions and in-game diplomacy to Firefly’s choice of office equipment and the game’s lack of an always-online requirement. Stronghold Crusaders 2 will be available for PC later this year.
Sega today announced that Total War: Rome II will receive its second major campaign pack DLC on March 27th.
Dropping players into the Western Mediterranean at the outbreak of the second Punic War, Hannibal at the Gates features a new campaign map focused on the tinderbox geopolitical situation that brought two ancient world superpowers to all-out war; with sworn rivals Scipio and Hannibal at the very heart of the conflict.
Five playable factions will feature a wealth of new units. Main protagonists Rome and Carthage will benefit from a new civil tech tree based around diplomacy, while the challenge in the shadow of these mighty empires for newcomers Syacuse, the Arevaci and the Lusitani will be formidable.
In addition to this, another free content update for Rome II will also drop soon, benefitting all players regardless of whether they own any DLC.

Namco Bandai announced today that One Piece Unlimited World Red will be available at retailers later this year for the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo 3DS. The game is also slated for a digital-only release on PlayStation Vita and Wii U. 11 bit studios today announced their upcoming game, This War of Mine, in development for PC.
In This War of Mine, the focus is shifted away from military operations portrayed in most games. Instead, it is a dark survival game where players control a group of civilians trying to stay alive in a besieged city. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, offering players time to craft, trade, upgrade their shelter, feed and cure their people. At night they must scavenge nearby areas in search for food, medicines, weapons and other useful items.
In This War of Mine, players have to make life-and-death decisions based on their conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them in order to prevail; there are no good or bad decisions during war. There’s only survival.
