Nintendo released a new Nintendo Direct video that announced some additional Mario Kart 8 news nuggets, including a Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle, a free downloadable game offer for Wii U owners who buy Mario Kart 8, details about online features, new characters and new items.
On May 30th, Nintendo will release the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Set bundle that includes a Wii U Deluxe Set system, a Mario Kart 8 game, a red Mario Wii Wheel accessory and a red Mario Wii Remote Plus controller, all for $349.99.
People who buy Mario Kart 8 and register the game with Club Nintendo before July 31st will receive a free Nintendo eShop dowload code for an additional Wii U game. Players can grow their Wii U digital game collection by choosing from one of these Wii U games: New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD or Wii Party U.
Square Enix has released a new trailer for Murdered: Soul Suspect, entitled “The Bell Killer”. The trailer explores how protagonist Ronan O’Connor starts to link his death to a series of brutal killings in the town of Salem.
Murdered: Soul Suspect will be available in June for the Xbox One and Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and PC.
Bandai Namco today released JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle for the PlayStation 3 digitally via the PlayStation Network and through retail exclusively at Amazon.com and ClubNamco.com. Adapted from Hirohiko Araki’s manga, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, the game takes characters spanning all eight story arcs of the manga and pits them against each other in a one-on-one fighting game.
Ubisoft today announced that Child of Light, a turn based RPG set in the magical world of Lemuria, is now available for digital download on Xbox One and Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Wii and PC via Steam for $14.99.
Zoink! Games and Ripstone announced today that its mind-reading game, Stick It To The Man!, will be available for digital download on PlayStation 4 on May 6th, where it will be completely free to download for PlayStation Plus members (regular price $9.99).
During yesterday’s 12-hour H1Z1 livestream event, Sony Online Entertainment released the first gameplay footage from its upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie survival MMO for PC. H1Z1 will be a free-to-play game, but players can gain early access to the game’s alpha in May through Steam Early Access.
Bandai Namco today announced the inclusion of a companion title in Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, which is scheduled to arrive on the PlayStation Vita as a digital exclusive this summer. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will contain an HD version of the previous game in the franchise titled Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment, which was originally released in Japan for the PSP.
