Worms Rumble is Out Now on PlayStation and Steam

Team17 today launched the latest entry in the Worms franchise, Worms Rumble, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC, bringing real-time action to the series for the very first time. As announced by Sony, Worms Rumble is immediately available for free on both PS5 and PS4 during December as part of PlayStation Plus.

Today’s launch debuts with three maps: Missile Mall, Portal Park, and Transforming Towers, with free additional content and updates set for release over the coming weeks and months. The opening salvo of content delivers three modes: Deathmatch and solo & team-based variants of battle royale (Last Worm Standing and Last Squad Standing) in matches containing up to 32 players.

Rainbow Six Siege Launches on Next-Gen Consoles Alongside Operation Neon Dawn

Today, Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in up to 4K and 120 FPS with render scaling, at the same price as the current-gen version. All current game owners can get the next-gen version of the game on the same family of devices at no additional cost. Rainbow Six Siege also features cross progression and cross play within the same family of consoles.

In addition, Operation Neon Dawn, the final season of Rainbow Six Siege Year 5, is now available on all platforms. This new season brings new features such as Aruni, a brand-new Operator, the rework of the Skyscraper map as well as new accessibility settings.

Owners of the Year 5 Pass can play with Aruni immediately, while other players can unlock her with Renown or R6 Credits starting December 8th. New seasonal content, including the Skyscraper map rework, are available for free to all players. Year 5 Season 4 also welcomes the Battle Pass, available now through February 22nd.

Red Dead Online Standalone is Now Available

Red Dead Online is now available to purchase as a standalone game for new players who do not already own Red Dead Redemption 2. The standalone version of Red Dead Online is available from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store and Steam for an introductory offer of $4.99 – which is 75% off the regular price – until February 15th, 2021. SaGa Frontier Remastered Announced for Summer 2021

During a recent livestream in Japan, Square Enix revealed that cult classic SaGa Frontier, originally released in the West in 1998, is returning as SaGa Frontier Remastered, an HD remaster digitally on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in Summer 2021.

SaGa Frontier Remastered, overseen by industry veteran Akitoshi Kawazu (Final Fantasy, SaGa series), will feature a host of new improvements and additions, including remastered graphics, new story content bringing in Fuse as a main playable character, new character events for fan-favorite Asellus, the popular “Glimmer” ability which gives characters new ways to learn skills and attacks, and more.

Hwang Returns to Strike Down Evil in Soulcalibur VI

Hwang Seong-gyeong will return on December 2nd – as DLC 13 and part of Soulcalibur VI’s Season Pass 2 – to fight against evil and strike down anyone or anything that represents it. Hwang’s talisman has led him back to Soulcalibur VI with his Dark Thunder longsword and Six Heavenly Arts fighting style to protect him.

Along with Hwang, Soulcalibur VI DLC 14 will also give players an entirely new Character Creation Set with more variety, pieces and additional Tekken-themed parts. As an added bonus, a free content update will also be available for all players and ushers in a new stage, the Motien Pass Ruins, Seong Mi-na’s Classic Costume set and new Mitsurugi and Nightmare episodes.
