GTA Online San Andreas Flight School Update Available

Rockstar Games announced that the San Andreas Flight School Update is now available. The newest addition to the world of Grand Theft Auto Online includes new missions, jets, cars and player customization options alongside additional gameplay changes.

Double Fine Presents Gang Beasts

Double Fine today announced the newest edition to its lineup, Gang Beasts, from UK-based studio Boneloaf. Gang Beasts is a local multiplayer brawler in the style of Streets of Rage or Double Dragon that allows you and your friends to fight alongside each other and face off head to head. An alpha build of the game will be available August 29th on Steam Early Access.

Destiny – “Venus” Trailer

Bungie has released the “Venus” gameplay trailer for Destiny, coming September 9th to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition on Steam This Week

DrinkBox Studios announced it will bring Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition to Steam on August 21st – with all its new content, including an extended story with new game areas, a new boss character, powerful new player abilities and many other enhancements.

Current owners of the original Steam version of Guacamelee! will enjoy a Steam loyalty discount of 66% off the base price of $14.99, while all other Steam users can enjoy a time-limited 10% launch discount.

This version of Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition will include Steam workshop integration, including a Costume shop, Steam trading cards and plans for future updates.

Disney-Themed Toy Box Starter Pack Announced

Disney Interactive today announced that a special Disney-themed Toy Box Starter Pack is set to launch this November. The Disney Infinity: Toy Box Starter Pack (2.0 Edition) gives Disney fans the chance to experience the new and improved Toy Box 2.0 mode, set in the wonderful world of Disney, and is compatible with the game’s Marvel Play Sets.

Players can create unique stories featuring Starter Pack characters Merida and Stitch, utilize newly announced Disney and Marvel characters, as well as bring all of their existing characters from Disney Infinity into the Toy Box 2.0 mode. The Toy Box Starter Pack is compatible with all Disney Infinity content, including Marvel Play Sets, figures and Power Discs.

Shadow of Mordor Season Pass Unveiled

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions today revealed the Season Pass for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, showcasing exclusive content that will be available at participating retailers.

The Season Pass includes:

• Exclusive ‘Guardians of the Flaming Eye’ Orc Warband mission
  • Players will face Sauron’s elite Defenders before the Black Gate and earn the Rising Flame rune
• Early access to the ‘Trials of War’ challenge series

Bungie has released a new Mars trailer for Destiny, coming September 9th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Project Cars Pre-Order Bonus

Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios today announced pre-order details for their upcoming simulation racing title, Project Cars, available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in November, and Wii U in 2015.

Customers who pre-order Project Cars from participating retailers will be able to get instant access to the Modified Car Pack, which includes the following vehicles:

Clockwork Empires Hits Steam Early Access

Gaslamp Games announced that Clockwork Empires is now available on Steam Early Access. In addition, a new trailer has been released which details life on the frontier – from foraging wild berries to some serious shotgun action right to an Auroch’s face, and even provides a few tips on cooking.

The Escapists Coming to Steam Early Access This Week

Team 17 today announced their plans to bring indid developer Mouldy Toof Studios prison break-out game The Escapists to Steam Early Access on August 20th for $9.99. The Escapists is a time management prison escape game that gives you the ‘freedom’ to live the life of a prison inmate, ultimately plotting and pulling off a daring escape. The Escapists will also be coming to Xbox One next year.
