TopWare Interactive has released a new in-game trailer for Raven’s Cry. The third-person role-playing action-adventure game is scheduled for release on October 14th for PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
Independent video game developer Clapfoot announced today that its new sci-fi strategy and base defense shooter, Fortified, will come to PC and console in 2015.
Set in a bustling metropolis, Fortified is a base defense game that expands upon the genre by adding shooter mechanics and real-time strategy elements that are used in tandem to save Earth from robotic invaders. Inspired by 1950s sci-fi films, players take control of one-of-four character classes as they fight swarms of enemies with an arsenal of Cold War era weapons and experimental alien technology. In Fortified players protect the city by building a network of defensive structures, commanding army units and pulling the trigger on dangerous skyscraping attackers. Gamers can battle the invaders alone or team up with other players in four-player co-op mode.
During its SOE Live 2014 event, Sony Online Entertainment announced that its free-to-play zombie survival game H1Z1 is coming to PlayStation 4 in addition to PC.
Bandai Namco today announced that Tales of Xillia 2 is now available in stores nationwide exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Players who have a save game file from both Tales of Graces f and Tales of Xillia will be able to enjoy exclusive bonus items for Tales of Xillia 2. Downloadable costumes purchased for Tales of Xillia will also work with Tales of Xillia 2.
Bandai Namco today launched Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment on the PlayStation Vita as a digital exclusive. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is a role-playing game based on the novel, manga and anime, Sword Art Online, and reflects the characters and environments from the virtual reality world called Aincrad. In a simulated MMORPG setting, players find that they are captured within the game and must explore and defeat enemies until they reach the highest floors of Aincrad to beat the game and free themselves from the fantasy world.
Disney Interactive and Harmonix today announced a pre-order bonus for the musical motion video game, Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved.
Now through October 20th, fans who pre-order the game from participating retailers will receive a song bundle featuring tracks from popular artists – Demi Lovato, OneRepublic, and AVICII. The song bundle will include three tracks including Demi Lovato’s rendition of “Let It Go,” “Counting Stars” from pop rock band OneRepublic and “Lay Me Down” from EDM DJ AVICII.
Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved will be available on October 21st for Xbox One and Kinect for Xbox 360.

PopCap Games today released Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare for PlayStation integrates Zomboss Down, Garden Variety, and Tactical Taco Party Pack DLC updates. The game will feature Remote Play for PlayStation Vita, offering a handheld experience of the entire game through the PlayStation 4.
CD Project RED has released a 35-minute gameplay demo of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game will be available on February 24th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Square Enix Collective and Kitfox Games announced that Moon Hunters, the pixel-art mythology-building RPG, will begin crowdfunding via Kickstarter on August 26th. The team will be aiming to raise $45,000 in order to help them complete the project.
