CD Projekt Red welcomes gamers to Night City with the official launch of Cyberpunk 2077 – the studio’s latest open-world, action-adventure RPG now available on PC via GOG, Steam, and Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia. The game is also playable on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
In Cyberpunk 2077, players take on the role of up-and-coming mercenary V in the futuristic megalopolis of Night City — a corporation-ruled city obsessed with technology and body modification. As they chase down a prototype implant which holds the key to immortality, players will meet a cast of characters, including rebel rockerboy Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves), upgrade their character with ability-altering cyberware, and make difficult choices which will shape the world and story around them.
The Game Awards Festival is back for the second year, kicking off today on Steam, Xbox and GeForce NOW in anticipation of tomorrow’s global livestream of The Game Awards. PUBG is introducing a new battleground exclusively for Season 10 named Haven, a 1×1 map that will feature 32-players descending into an urban environment rife with verticality and combat possibilities. As Survivors battle each other across the streets and rooftops of Haven, they’ll need to keep an eye out for a new enemy faction known as “The Pillar” that roam the map. Survivors can drop into Season 10 when it releases for PC on December 16th and December 17th for consoles.

Today, The Coalition announced that the Gears 5: Hivebusters expansion will launch on December 15th, available with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and for $19.99 as a separate purchase. The newly-announced Gears 5: Game of the Year Edition will also be available on the same day for $59.99.
Gears 5: Hivebusters is a new 3-hour campaign where players will take on the roles of Lahni, Keegan and Mac – the heroes introduced in Gears 5’s Escape mode – in their first mission as part of the secretive Hivebuster program. Thrown together and dubbed “Scorpio Squad,” their suicide mission to destroy a Swarm hive may hold the key to saving Sera and their own redemption.
Gears 5: Hivebusters is the first Xbox Game Studios campaign expansion to join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate day-and-date with release. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play as a part of their existing membership when the expansion is live on December 15th. Simply update the game and launch the expansion from the Gears 5 main menu.
Today, in a post on Twitter, Ubisoft announced that the release date for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has been moved to March 18th, 2021, in order to give the development team additional time to work on the game:

CD Projekt Red has released the official launch trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 in anticipation of the game’s premiere on December 10th. The trailer dives deep into the world and story of Cyberpunk 2077, and explores the bonds players will forge, the dangers they will face, and the lengths they will go to in order to build their legend as V, the game’s protagonist.
Today, Square Enix announced that the first new playable Super Hero, and star of the all-new Marvel’s Avengers Operation: Kate Bishop – Taking AIM, is now available for free download for all game owners. In addition to Kate Bishop, the new playable Super Hero performed by Ashly Burch, and the new chapter in the game’s ongoing and expanding Avengers Initiative story, Marvel’s Avengers Operation: Kate Bishop – Taking AIM also introduces a new villain, the Super-Adaptoid, that will challenge players with a combination of skills and weaponry that mimic the Avengers’ own attacks.
id Software’s DOOM Eternal is available now on Nintendo Switch. Developed in partnership with Panic Button – the studio behind the Nintendo Switch ports of DOOM (2016), Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood – players can now experience the single-player campaign at home or on the go.
