Reel Fishing Launches on PS Vita

Natsume announced today that it has launched its first title for PlayStation Vita, Reel Fishing: Master’s Challenge. A pure fishing simulation, Reel Fishing: Master’s Challenge offers 18 fishing locations, 60 fresh and saltwater fish, and over 100 pieces of tackle. Players can also catch, keep, and care for fish in fully-customizable fish tanks.

Hironobu Sakaguchi to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award

The 15th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards will be honoring Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series of games and the founder and president of Mistwalker, with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the world of gaming. The Game Developers Choice Awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday, March 4th at 6:30 pm at the Moscone Convention Center during the 2015 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, and will be streamed online and open to all GDC pass holders.

Mortal Kombat X: Kollector’s Edition Revealed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today revealed details of the premium product lineup for Mortal Kombat X, which includes Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Edition by Coarse, Kollector’s Edition, Premium Edition and Limited Edition. All premium products including the base game are available now for pre-order from participating retailers. In addition, all who pre-order the game will receive legendary fighter Goro as a playable character. Mortal Kombat X will release on April 14th.

The Mortal Kombat X: Kollector’s Edition by Coarse will include:

  • Exclusive Scorpion figurine and Certificate of Authenticity, designed by Coarse

Mordheim: City of the Damned – Gameplay Video

Rogue Factor’s turn-based tactical-RPG Mordheim: City of the Damned, based on Games Workshop’s tabletop game, is receiving its second major content update today. Players entering Early Access from tonight till February 6th will enjoy a 33% discount.

White Night Set to Launch in Early March

Indie developer Osome Studio today revealed the launch date for their upcoming narrative-driven survival horror game, White Night, which will arrive as a downloadable title March 3rd on PC and PlayStation 4, and March 6th on Xbox One.

Set in the 1930s and drawing from the themes of noir-era storytelling, players investigate a shadowy mansion in the dead of night after a near-fatal car crash. What started as a search for aid will become a desperate quest to unearth the secrets behind the manor’s tortured past.
