Kane Hodder Joins Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp

Gun Media announced today that Kane Hodder, known for his role as Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th film series, will be the killer in the upcoming game, Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp. Hodder will be working alongside horror FX icon Tom Savini during motion capture sessions to record all movement and every kill found in Summer Camp. Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Havoc DLC Coming to PS4, PS3 and PC on February 26th

Havoc, first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC on February 26th. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Havoc includes four new multiplayer maps, access to the AE4 directed energy assault rifle, the AE4 Widowmaker custom variant, plus an all-new cooperative mode called Exo Zombies.

LEGO Jurassic World – Teaser Trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Universal have released the first trailer for LEGO Jurassic World. The all-new game will feature the first three Jurassic Park films as well as Jurassic World, the next installment in the series. LEGO Jurassic World will be available Summer 2015 for Xbox One and Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC.

Rise of Incarnates Now Available on Steam Early Access

Bandai Namco’s free-to-play action game, Rise of Incarnates, is now available on Steam Early Access. With today’s Early Access launch, Rise of Incarnates debuts with eight playable characters each with a unique set of powers and skills. Players battle in a 2 vs. 2 arena set in New York City or Paris maps, and can choose from a variety of different modes including Versus matches, Arcade mode and Bot matches.

Dreadnought – Gameplay Commentary Video

Grey Box and Yager have released an all-new gameplay video for Dreadnought, the aerial armada action game scheduled for release on PC later this year. This video features commentary from Eino Joas and Timm Boukoura, two of the game’s designers playing on opposite teams, as they discuss the many varied tactics players will be able to deploy over the course of a battle, including when to change ships and how to manage your powers.

Evolve – ‘Ready or Not’ Live Action Trailer

2K and Turtle Rock Studios have released a live action trailer for Evolve. In the trailer titled ‘Ready or Not,’ a group of four set out together to hunt down their friend. But before they can catch him, he evolves into something they could never expect.

Evolve will be available on February 10th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

ESAC Student Video Game Competition

The Entertainment Software Association of Canada today announced the 1st annual ESAC Student Video Game Competition. This competition will grant one winner currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution the opportunity to showcase their game at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles this coming June as part of an all-expense paid trip.

The competition is designed to encourage game development skills that are crucial to the future of the domestic video game industry.

Iceberg Interactive to Publish Space Combat Title ‘Ceres’

Iceberg Interactive today announced it has signed the tactical space combat game Ceres from Iceland-based developer Jötunn Games. The PC game is set for a Q2 2015 release on digital platforms and in retail stores.
