Atlus has released a new video for Etrian Mystery Dungeon introducing the Sovereign character class. Etrian Mystery Dungeon will be available on March 7th for the Nintendo 3DS.
Developed by Intelligent Systems, the creators of the Fire Emblem and Advance Wars series, the single- and multiplayer turn-based strategy game Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. launches for the Nintendo 3DS tomorrow, March 13th. The game places players on the front lines of a series of battlefields and requires them to use both brains and brawn to emerge from battle victorious. Players are thrust into the boots of some of the most original and unexpected playable characters ever assembled in a Nintendo video game. These agents of S.T.E.A.M. (Strike Team Eliminating the Alien Menace) are composed of literature- and folklore-inspired icons like John Henry, Tiger Lily, Tom Sawyer, Lion from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and many more – all led by Abraham Lincoln. Players who dive into the action on New Nintendo 3DS XL can take advantage of the new system’s enhanced controls and amiibo functionality.
Sega announced today that 3D Out Run, part of the second series of classic titles re-mastered for the Nintendo 3DS, is now available in the eShop.
The re-mastered version includes all of Out Run’s original content alongside two new songs, and runs at 60 fps which is twice the speed of the original game. 3D Out Run also features a built in Stage Select option that allows players to save and resume progress mid-game, has adjustable difficulty settings, and includes unlockable car customization options that allow you to equip parts to improve your car. Additionally, players are able to choose from a number of real-life arcade cabinets wherein everything from the appearance to the environmental sounds of the specific cabinet are recreated.
2K and Firaxis Games today announced that Sid Meier’s Starships is now available for PC for $14.99. Developed by Sid Meier, Starships challenges players to command a fleet of starships within the narrative universe of Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth while embarking on a series of turn-based missions. Along the journey, players explore the galaxy in search of other civilizations, protect planets and their people and build a federation to achieve intergalactic peace.
Deep Silver today unveiled its latest AAA in-house development team – Deep Silver Dambuster Studios – and set out their vision for the makers of upcoming open-world FPS, Homefront: The Revolution.
Dambuster Studios was founded in July 2014, in Nottingham, UK. Lead by Hasit Zala (also Game Director on Homefront: The Revolution) the studio currently numbers 126 staff, the vast majority of whom are veterans of Crytek UK (formerly Free Radical Design).
Development on Homefront: The Revolution continues at full speed, with the game now scheduled for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2016.

Interactive Entertainment introduces the Cage family – Sonya Blade, her ex-husband Johnny Cage and their daughter Cassie Cage – in a new Mortal Kombat X video that encapsulates their turbulent yet entertaining relationship and diverse fighting styles. Born from the blood of champions, newcomer to the franchise Cassie Cage is limber and strong, wielding dual pistols in a brutal new way. Franchise favorites Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage, now revealed as playable characters in Mortal Kombat X, return to the series as protectors of Earthrealm once again despite their tumultuous past.
Mortal Kombat X will be available on April 14th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Turtle Rock Studios and 2K announced today that two new, free maps are coming to Evolve. The Broken Hill Mine and Broken Hill Foundry maps introduce two totally unique environments: mining caves below the planet’s surface and a fully industrial setting that has you sprinting down factory corridors. Each of these maps also introduces new campaign effects while playing Evolve’s Evacuation campaign.
The Broken Hill Mine and Broken Hill Foundry maps will be available for free, and are coming first to Xbox One on March 31st, followed by PC and PlayStation 4 on April 30th.
Tripwire Interactive presents the latest installment in its multi-part developer diary series for Killing Floor 2. In a continuation of Weapons and Perks: Part 1, the newest video, Weapons and Perks: Part 2 takes aim at what Killing Floor 2 has in store in its heavy arsenal. For starters, the team pairs each perk with a specialized base weapon and grenade. Players can then customize their specific perk skills as they progress in the game to suit their Zed-slaying style.
Killing Floor 2 will be available for the PC and PlayStation 4 in 2015.
Firefly Studios today announced Space Colony: Steam Edition will release on PC via Steam in Q2 2015. Space Colony: Steam Edition is a remaster of the original sci-fi base builder that expands the game with new missions and features.
Indie developer Serious Parody today announced that 5 Star Wrestling will climb into the ring on March 17th for the PlayStation 3. The game will be available digitally via the PlayStation Store for $24.99.
