Little Orbit announced today that the martial arts panda bear, Po, and his many friends and adversaries in the Valley of Peace will face off in a martial arts challenge, the first-ever Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends. The multiplayer kung fu melee game is coming this Fall to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC.
Developed by Vicious Cycle, Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends will bring fans a fresh way to experience DreamWorks Animation’s franchise. With a variety of local and online multiplayer levels, familiar film locations and 20 playable Kung Fu Panda characters, the game will appeal to gamers who like their brawler games served up with a side of laughter.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced that the Mortal Kombat X Jason Voorhees Bundle will be available for early download to Kombat Pack owners starting tomorrow, May 5th. The Jason Voorhees Bundle includes playable character and Friday the 13th icon, Jason Voorhees and the Horror Pack, comprising of three horror-themed skins including Vampiress Mileena, Kraken Reptile and Pharaoh Ermac. Those who do not own the Kombat Pack can purchase the Jason Voorhees Bundle beginning May 12th at the PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace and Steam for $7.99. Jason Voorhees and the Horror Pack will also be sold separately for $4.99 and $3.99 respectively.

Playtonic Games, a new studio formed by the creative talent behind adventure series such as Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country, today launched the Kickstarter campaign for Yooka-Laylee, an all-new 3D platformer coming to consoles and PC.
Yooka-Laylee (previously ‘Project Ukulele’) will be released in 2016 and star the charismatic new heroes Yooka and Laylee. Using an arsenal of special moves like Yooka’s tongue grapple and Laylee’s sonar blast, players will explore – and expand – 3D worlds filled with collectibles and secrets to discover.
The project will feature a soundtrack created in collaboration with composers David Wise (Donkey Kong Country series), Steve Burke (Kameo: Elements of Power) and Grant Kirkhope (Banjo-Kazooie series).
Playtonic is using Kickstarter as a means of both expanding the scope of Yooka-Laylee and bringing it to more platforms. The game is currently played for release on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U, with release timings dependent on the success of the crowdfunding campaign.
Indie developer HandMade Game today announced that its adventure puzzle game, Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle, has launched on PC via Stea. Combining aspects of platform gameplay with classic sliding puzzle mechanics, Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle transports players to a mysterious mansion where they must solve puzzles room by room to escape.
The game, which is the sequel to Rooms: The Main Building, is now available with special launch week pricing of $7.99, a discount of 20% off the regular price of $9.99. In addition, HandMade will include a 66% discount for Rooms: The Main Building with the purchase of Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle.
