Two Tribes has released a new trailer for RIVE, the metal wrecking, robot hacking shooter scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U later this year.
2K and Gearbox Software announced that Battleborn will include 25 unique playable heroes, a story mode playable alone or with friends, three competitive multiplayer modes and a persistent progression system. The companies also released an all-new trailer showcasing many of the first-person shooter’s 25 heroes in action.
Battleborn is set in a distant future, where nearly every star in the universe has gone dark at the hands of a mysterious enemy. Solus, the last star, is the only beacon of hope for the universe’s surviving population. The fading of stars has led to a great war among those desperate for the last remaining resources. Heroes, called Battleborn, fight for the dominance of their unique factions as all life in the universe teeters on the brink of extinction. Now, the mysterious enemy is threatening to finish what they’ve started, and only an unlikely alliance between the universe’s most powerful heroes can stop them.

Battleborn is currently scheduled for release this winter for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Deep Silver and comcept released details on the Mighty No. 9: Signature Edition, a limited Collector’s Edition that includes the Launch Edition of Mighty No. 9 along with a 6.5 inch, individually numbered statue of Beck featuring 14 different articulation points and three interchangeable faceplates for $59.99. Special packaging also includes a foil signature from creator Keiji Inafune.
Also released is a new trailer, “Beat Them at Their Own Game,” in which our hero, Beck, takes on the challenge of his eight mighty opponents and fights his way through ever-changing stages and boss fights.
All launch window versions of Mighty No. 9 will come packed with an additional “Retro Hero” DLC that allows players to battle as a retro-inspired version of our hero Beck as well as a 1-hit-death difficulty mode.
Mighty No. 9 will be available on September 15th as a digital download as well as physical retail version for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Wii U, as well as digital only on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Portable versions for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS will follow at a later date. Mighty No. 9 supports Cross-Buy across all physical and digital purchases for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
Daybreak Game Company today announced that PlanetSide 2 will be available on the PlayStation 4 on June 23rd. The MMOFPS, which began Closed Beta testing in January, will be available on the PS4 as a free-to-play downloadable title with no PlayStation Plus membership requirement.
Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios today announced Neverwinter: Rise of Tiamat will be launching on Xbox One in June. Neverwinter: Rise of Tiamat brings a 25-person fight against the iconic Dragon Queen – Tiamat – and a brand-new adventure zone to the free-to-play game at no additional cost. This is the first of five free expansions, which will source material from popular Dungeons & Dragons’ storylines including Elemental Evil, coming to the Xbox One version in 2015.
Bethesda Softworks today confirmed the upcoming release of Fallout 4. The world premiere of the game will take place during Bethesda’s E3 Showcase being held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on June 14th beginning at 10pm EST, and streamed live via Twitch and YouTube. Fallout 4 is being developed for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC by Bethesda Game Studios under the direction of Todd Howard.
Activision today announced Skylanders SuperChargers will launch on September 20th, expanding upon the franchise’s signature gameplay to introduce vehicles-to-life.
Players can speed across Skylands’ roads in vehicular combat, race down roaring rapids and engage in aerial dogfights as they barrel-roll through enemy swarms for the first time. Developed by Vicarious Visions, Skylanders SuperChargers offers a story-driven gameplay experience, filled with vehicle-based and on-foot adventures, combat, puzzles, mini games, activities and platforming, set within a variety of all-new environments.
Skylanders SuperChargers features a brand-new class of heroes, called SuperChargers who are distinct with fresh moves, powerful attacks and all-new weapons. These SuperChargers also have special in-game abilities that help Portal Masters fight Kaos. Twenty new SuperChargers character toys and 20 new vehicle toys will be available.
Players will have the ability to customize all vehicles in-game with modifications and upgradeable weapons. For the ultimate gameplay experience, players can pair a SuperCharger Skylander with its signature vehicle to create a SuperCharged combination, unlocking an exclusive mod that revs up the performance of both the vehicle and character. Not only are the vehicles playable in the game, but also many feature moving parts, making them fun to play with outside of the game. Additionally, Skylanders SuperChargers supports all 300+ Skylanders toys from previous games, enabling all Skylanders characters to pilot land, sea or sky-based vehicles.
Gambrinous and Versus Evil have announced a July 14th release date for the dungeon-building role-playing game Guild of Dungeoneering. The game will be available on PC for $14.99.
Eager Dungeoneers who pre-order before the launch date can secure the Pirates Cove Adventure Pack. This DLC pack includes one new region, two new dungeoneer classes and five additional adventures that all have separate, unique quests. The Pirates Cove Adventure Pack will become available after the game is released, date to be announced, for $4.99.
Psyonic revealed today that Sweet Tooth, the ice cream truck of Twisted Metal fame, will be exclusively playable on the PlayStation 4 when the sports-action game Rocket League arrives on July 7th.
