The Tumble mini game is available as part of the latest free Minecraft update, rolling out to consoles now.
Tumble is a competitive mini game where your objective is to avoid taking a dip in red hot lava by making sure that other players fall into it first. You get to do this destroying the floor beneath your enemies’ feet as you stand in platforms that can have one or more layers. Sounds easy? Well, remember that other players will use their shovels or snowballs to get you to fall first. And when you get up to 8 friends to do this at the same time, it does get a little wild.
Battle Map Pack #3, a group of three more maps to play in Battle mini game, is also available today in the Xbox store for $2.99 USD or local equivalent and it includes three new maps: Castle, Shipyard and Invasion.
Frostpunk, in development from the creators of This War of Mine, is coming to PC in 2017.
The premise begins by imagining what society is capable of when pushed to the limit. In a completely frozen world, people develop steam-powered technology to oppose the overwhelming cold. Society in its current form becomes ineffective and it has to change in order to survive. What does this change mean? What is culture when morality stands in the way of existence? In the end, survival may transform us completely. Whether that change makes us better or worse, stronger or weaker, or even more or less humane is debatable.
