Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for One Piece: Burning Blood, highlighting the game’s battle system, which allows players to select and switch between three characters including Luffy, Sabo, Ace, Bartolomeo, the newly announced Smoker, and many others from the One Piece universe. One Piece: Burning Blood also introduces an advanced battle system that incorporates unique elements from the One Piece world such as Devil Fruit abilities and Haki action techniques, allowing players to increase their attack power by using their unique abilities such as Logia Moves, Logia Guard, and Haki Blow. Players forming their pirate crew must take into account each character’s strengths and weaknesses before heading out and pummeling the competition.
One Piece: Burning Blood will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation Vita in 2016.
Electronic Arts has released a new community-created map called Operation Outbreak that is coming to Battlefield 4 today as a free digital download on Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Battlefield 4 players participated in every step of the map creation process from the core concept such as theme and setting, to selecting the points of interest, and naming the map. Players provided feedback and suggestions on forums, and even voted in polls to shape the map’s outcome. Through the Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment, they also were able to try out the new map in various iterations from early scale tests to its final form. The result is a dense infantry-focused jungle map.
It’s that time of the month again and to coincide with the November 12th launch of the New Xbox One Experience and Backward Compatibility, Games with Gold will pack in even more value each month. Beginning in November, all future Games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 will be playable on Xbox One, giving Xbox One owners double the free games to play each month. Not only that, but with Xbox One Backward Compatibility, gamers will be able to play multiplayer with their friends no matter which console they’re on and enjoy Xbox One’s advanced user features in Xbox 360 games, including Game DVR, screenshots and in-home streaming to Windows 10.
Leading November’s lineup of games, Pneuma: Breath of Life will be available November 1st to November 30th on Xbox One. The medieval-themed multiplayer party game, Knight Squad, will be available November 16th to December 15th on Xbox One. DiRT 3 will be available November 1st to November 15th on Xbox 360 and Xbox One via Backward Compatibility. Finally, Dungeon Siege III will be available November 16th to November 30th to Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners.
Indie developer and publisher, Psyonix, announced today that Rogue League will deliver an all-new, free update featuring “Mutators” – a suite of alternative presets and settings that add variety to custom games. The new update will be available on the PlayStation Network and Steam this November.
With the introduction of “Mutators,” Rocket League players will soon be able to play a variety of new game-alts, including the low-gravity “Moonball” or the classic Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars game modes,”Cubic” and “Time Warp,” to name just a few. A special playlist, entitled “Mutator Mashup,” will also launch in November and these combine several preset modes into a single, randomized list of online games.
A Mutator mode based on the sport of Hockey will be available in December.
