Blizzard Entertainment has released the launch trailer for StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, the third expansion for the real-time strategy game, available November 10th. In this trailer, we examine how far our heroes have come and the struggles they have endured…only to find themselves confronting an evil that threatens to engulf the entire galaxy. Now, all three factions must unite to overcome Amon’s power — or face complete extinction.
Today at BlizzCon, Blizzard Entertainment revealed The League of Explorers, the newest addition to Hearthstone’s Adventure Mode that sends duelists on expeditions to recover a mysterious lost relic.
The League of Explorers introduces four intrepid adventurers — Elise Starseeker, Reno Jackson, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Brann Bronzebeard — and invites players to join their journey through a series of exotic destinations, some familiar and some new, to recover an artifact of immense power. These brave explorers will face many perils as they navigate through the Temple of Orsis, Uldaman, the Ruined City, and the Hall of Explorers in hopes of discovering lost artifacts that will lead them closer to the relic. Escaping giant boulders and emerging from all of the locations in one piece will reward adventurers with a combined total of 45 treasured new cards, bringing a slew of new tactics to the game.
Available for exploration starting November 12th on PC, the four League of Explorers locations will open on a weekly basis (one per week) over the course of a month, with a one-week break in the middle during the Thanksgiving holiday. The League of Explorers can be purchased in full for $19.99 USD, one location at a time for 700 gold or $6.99 USD each, or in discounted bundles based on the number of individual locations already purchased.

Activision Blizzard today announced the launch of Activision Blizzard Studios, a new film and television studio devoted to creating original content based on the company’s library of intellectual properties, including Call of Duty, Skylanders, Diablo, Hearthstone and Starcraft. Former Disney executive Nick van Dyk has been tapped to co-head the division, along with a senior creative executive who will be announced soon.
Activision Blizzard Studios’ first production will be “Skylanders™ Academy,” an animated TV series based on the Skylanders game. Currently in production under the supervision of showrunner Eric Rogers (“Futurama”), “Skylanders™ Academy” will feature the voices of Justin Long (“Alvin and the Chipmunks,” “Ask Me Anything”) as Spyro, Ashley Tisdale (“Phineas and Ferb,” “High School Musical”) as Stealth Elf, Jonathan Banks (“Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul”) as Eruptor and Norm Macdonald (“Saturday Night Live”) as Glumshanks. Additional voice talent includes Harland Williams and Richard Horvitz.
Another near-term initiative for Activision Blizzard Studios will be the development of a cinematic universe based on the Call of Duty franchise. Activision Blizzard Studios envisions a series of Call of Duty feature films as well as the possibility of television adaptations.

Activision today announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops III is now available digitally and at retailers for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is also available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Also available today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC is the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Season Pass, which gives access to four DLC Map Packs to be released during 2016 at a bundled discount. The DLC Map Packs will be available first on the PlayStation 4.
