Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta is now live. Those who own Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will have exclusive access to play the Beta starting today through Sunday, December 13th.
Bethesda Softworks announced that it will be giving away $1 million (USD) to one lucky player of its multiplayer role-playing game, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, in a sweepstakes. Big Deez Productions has released the premiere gameplay trailer for its upcoming action game, Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn. This first look at the reignited title in motion was unveiled by Shaquille O’Neal during his appearance at The Game Awards in Los Angeles.
Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn is expected to launch as a digital title on consoles and PC via Steam next year.
Indie developers Virtual Basement and Code Headquarters announced today that The Mean Greens: Plastic Warfare will release on December 8th for PC via Steam The Mean Greens: Plastic Warfare brings the classic plastic toy soldiers to life in this third person action shooter. Players face off as green and tan toy soldiers that battle each other across fun and unique maps, while choosing from many different weapons that are always equipped.
Koei Tecmo today announced that gamers interested in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round can now experience it free of charge with the relaunch of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters on Xbox One. Consisting of four fighters – Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi, and Ryu Hayabusa – as well as nearly every available game mode, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters is now free-to-download via the Xbox Store.
With 30 additional characters available for purchase individually or in sets, players can pick and choose which characters to add to their rosters. Each character utilizes a unique fighting style with a personality to match, so it is ultimately up to the player to decide who is worthy to join their Core Fighters team. Additionally, costumes purchased from Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate as well as Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on Xbox 360 can be transferred to Core Fighters on Xbox One, and should players decide to upgrade to the full version of the game, all previously-purchased costumes and DLC will be transferrable.
Characters aside, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters includes many of the same features from the full version of the game. For example, Core Fighters players can compete online against each other as well as against those who own the full game on Xbox One. Story Mode and other features can be accessed for a fee.

Tonight at The Game Awards, Naughty Dog and Sony Computer Entertainment debuted a brand new cinematic clip from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End where Nathan Drake meets a new, decidedly less than friendly character.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be available March 18th exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
Tonight at The Game Awards, Remedy Entertainment and Microsoft Studios debuted a new cinematic trailer for Quantum Break, coming exclusively to Xbox One on April 5th.
Narrated by Shawn Ashmore, who plays the main protagonist Jack Joyce, the trailer shows how Jack gains time manipulation powers as a result of a catastrophic accident. In tandem, a fracture in time threatens to lead to the end of time itself, and only Jack can stop it.
The new trailer highlights the game’s Frozen Scenes of Drama, where Jack explores the world from the unique perspective of frozen time. Players have other time-based mechanics to look forward to in Quantum Break, including time-amplified combat and Stutters, where the breakdown of time causes disasters in the environment to pause, rewind and loop violently, forcing players to strategically use their time powers in order to navigate through the chaos and destruction to safety.
