2K today announced that NBA 2K21 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on March 4th. Players will be able to jump right away into a variety of modes including MyCareer, Neighborhood and MyTeam, which is currently in Season 5 – Age of Heroes.

Zynga today announced that it has acquired Echtra Games, a development team whose core members have previously worked on titles including Diablo, Diablo II, the Torchlight franchise and more. The Echtra Games team strengthens Zynga’s cross-platform play future. Specifically, Echtra Games will be developing a new, yet to be announced RPG for cross-platform play in partnership with Zynga’s NaturalMotion studio.
Bethesda Softworks today announced that DOOM 3: VR Edition will be arriving March 29th for PlayStation VR. Featuring both DOOM 3 and its expansions – Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission – DOOM 3: VR edition retools id Software’s horror-action classic for PSVR technology, including head tracking to peer around corners, angling shots with your flashlight-mounted weapons, 180-degree quick-turn functionality to catch sneaking demons in their tracks and a wrist-mounted display to track your health, armor and ammo.

For Fall Guys fans, Epic Games promises your gameplay isn’t changing and that they will continue to invest in making the game a great experience for players across platforms, including the soon-to-be-released Nintendo Switch and Xbox versions.
Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio today launched Yakuza: Like a Dragon on the PlayStation 5. Owners of the PS4 version of Yakuza: Like a Dragon can upgrade for free to the PS5 version. To celebrate the PS5 launch, all owners of this latest entry in the Yakuza series can download the Legends Costume Set for free on all platforms until April 2nd.
Today Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios released a new video for Magic: Legends, the upcoming free-to-play action RPG based on Wizards of the Coast’s strategy card game, Magic: The Gathering. The newest trailer reveals the numerous options for players to customize and tweak the difficulty and complexity, creating new challenges to explore and experiment with in every playthrough.
Open Beta for Magic: Legends begins March 23rd. The game is expected to release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in 2021.
On March 9th, EA and Respawn Entertainment will release their battle royale game Apex Legends on Nintendo Switch. The Switch version will feature cross-platform play support, as well as all the latest seasonal content and full feature parity with other versions of the game. Cold Iron Studios, in collaboration with 20th Century Games, today revealed Aliens: Fireteam, a new cooperative third-person survival shooter set within the Alien universe. Aliens: Fireteam is scheduled for release in Summer 2021 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam. Set 23 years after the original Alien trilogy, Aliens: Fireteam drops players into the role of a Colonial Marine aboard the USS Endeavor, recently tasked with answering a distress call from the outer colonies.
