Choice Provisions today announced the launch of The BIT.TRIP, a compilation of all six original BIT.TRIP games. The BIT.TRIP is available now on PS4 and Vita for $9.99, and supports cross-buy, cross-save, cross-platform leaderboards, and cross-platform trophies. A PS3 release is also coming soon, and will be free to those who purchased the game on PS4 or Vita.

Telltale Games today announced the release date for ‘A Block and a Hard Place,’ the fourth episode in Minecraft: Story Mode: A Telltale Games Series.

The fourth episode, ‘A Block and a Hard Place,’ will be available digitally starting December 22nd on PC from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One and Xbox 360. The episode will also be available the same day for season pass disc owners via online update.
Gearbox Software today announced the formation of Gearbox Studio Quebec. The company is now hiring game developers to join the Quebec City studio for its inaugural title growing to full AAA production capability through 2016.
Ubisoft today announced Jack the Ripper add-on content for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be available for download on console on December 15th and PC on December 22th. Jack the Ripper takes place 20 years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, where players will hunt the notorious serial killer as Assassin Evie Frye.
Jack the Ripper is available for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate players as standalone DLC, or as part of the Season Pass. Jack the Ripper is included in the Gold Edition of the game. Season Pass holders can download the add-on starting December 15th.
Rockstar Games presents a trailer for the newest addition to Grand Theft Auto Online, Executives and Other Criminals.
Become a VIP and create your own criminal organization, featuring all new gameplay modes and opportunities for luxury living. Executives and Other Criminals also includes new customizable apartments, stilt houses in the Vinewood Hills and the ultimate in executive excess: the extravagant, fully staffed and upgradeable Super Yacht.
VIP’s who run their own operation gain access to new co-op Jobs, challenges and special abilities in Freemode, as well as having the power to hire and fire other players for their team of bodyguards. Meanwhile, Bodyguards earn a regular paycheck and their own special benefits including RP, GTA$ and stat boosts for working for a VIP’s organization.
Organizations can go head to head in Freemode, with new missions that make full use of the latest executive defense options including new armored vehicle variants, the Turreted Limo and the missile defense systems of the Super Yacht, which also comes with its own suite of supporting vehicle upgrades including the new SuperVolito Carbon helicopter and personal watercraft.
Some existing Freemode Events will automatically adapt when played by organizations, allowing for new spins on King of The Hill, Moving Target and more. Also included is the new Extraction Adversary Mode, tasking teams of Bodyguards to search, locate and safely extract an Executive from their downed jet before a Hit Squad intercepts and eliminates the target.
Executives and Other Criminals also brings fresh choices in executive transport and protection with new weapons, new vehicles and much more. The free update will be available December 15th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
PopCap Vancouver today released the Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2: Solo Play Walkthrough Trailer, a video that showcases some of the game’s all-new Solo Play features, including the Solo Ops game mode, hot-swapping between characters on the fly, and the new customization options in Crazy Settings. Experience the game on your own terms in Solo Ops with the ability to select a full squad of four characters and swap between them at any point during a match. 2K and Firaxis Games today announced that the XCOM 2 Digital Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-purchase for $74.99. Launching on February 5th for PC, the XCOM 2 Digital Deluxe Edition includes the sequel to the strategy title XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the XCOM 2 Reinforcement Pack and the digital soundtrack.
The Reinforcement Pack can be purchased separately for $19.99 and bundles three downloadable add-on packs. Each add-on pack will offer a unique twist to the core game experience by adding new missions, aliens, weapons, more extreme soldier customizations and other items.

XSEED Games today announced that Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel will launch with two free DLC characters for a limited time, as XSEED Games’ way of saying thanks to fans purchasing the new 2D fighting game. Guest characters Homura (Senran Kagura series) and Aino Heart (Arcana Heart series) complete the roster of fierce female fighters fronting this game that’s set to launch in early 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Creative Assembly today launched the Age of Charlemagne Campaign Pack, a free expansion for Total War: Attila; set in the Middle Ages, long after Attila’s vicious reign has ended. Existing players will automatically receive the latest free content update for the main game, featuring a new playable faction – The White Huns – providing a new take on the Sassanid-dominated eastern reaches of the campaign map.
