Following Rise of the Tomb Raider’s release exclusively for Xbox One and Xbox 360, Square Enix today announced that the game will be available for Windows 10 and Steam on January 28th. Developers Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes Software added numerous features to the PC version, including Windows 10 support and 4K resolution.
A Collector’s Edition, which includes the Digital Deluxe version of the game, a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of Lara’s journal and jade necklace, and a steel case, will also be available from the Square Enix e-store for $149.99.
Zen Studios today announced its latest Star Wars Pinball tables from its ongoing partnership with Lucasfilm, Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack, which combines two new tables based on the new film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack will be available on Zen’s pinball platforms on console and PC the week of January 12th. To celebrate this occasion, Zen Studios has released a teaser trailer highlighting the brand new pack.
Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Table follows events from the recently released Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie. Players will team up with the Resistance and fight against the First Order alongside such heroes as Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron. It features all-new table-transforming environment mechanics that allow you to visit locations from the film and twelve story modes taking you through its most thrilling moments.
Star Wars Pinball: Might of the First Order puts players in command of the First Order, tasked with extending its power to many planets in the galaxy. Expand its rule beyond the outposts of civilization, and enforce its will in already controlled territories. The table features a two-level playfield where you must use the special ball-lock system on Kylo Ren’s playfield to crush the Resistance, and control your own Star Destroyer with the help of a special magnetic upside-down ramp.
The Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack will be available on Zen Pinball 2, Pinball FX2 and Star Wars Pinball platforms on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC the week of January 12th for $1.99.
Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that the PlayStation 4 has sold through more than 5.7 million units during the 2015 holiday season. PS4 has now cumulatively sold through more than 35.9 million units globally as of January 3rd, 2016.
Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive announced today that The White March – Part 2, the second expansion to Pillars of Eternity, will release on February 16th. The White March – Part 2 not only adds new content to the Pillars of Eternity universe, but also allows players to experience the conclusion of the stories told in The White March – Part 1, bringing the first chapter of Pillars of Eternity to a close. Players will find a variety of new challenges waiting for them in the snowy borderlands of the Eastern Reach, along with new quests, new abilities and a raised level cap, and a new companion: Meneha, the Barbarian.
Techland’s Dying Light has been expanded even further with all-new content in the form of ‘Harran: The Ride’. The creation is courtesy Steam user Cabozzl who designed and created the unique custom map all on his own. Cabozzl, an active member of the Dying Light community, used Dying Light Dev Tools (available for free on Steam) to realize his vision and reached out to Techland to showcase his work. Wargaming today announced that World of Tanks on PlayStation 4 will offer a second, three-day Open Beta January 8th through 10th with Founder’s Pack bundles available in the PlayStation Store beginning January 8th.
These Founder’s Pack bundles will be loaded with Premium vehicles and in-game content including Premium Account time, in-game currency and rare tanks, at a discount. Additionally, the M22 Locust US Light Tank along with a special camouflage honoring the original PlayStation and the T1E6-PS US Premium Light Tank will be gifted to all tankers who log in during the Beta Weekend.
World of Tanks on PlayStation 4 is free to all PlayStation accounts and does not require a PlayStation Plus membership to play.

Activision Blizzard today announced the acquisition of the business of Major League Gaming (MLG). MLG is a leader in creating and streaming premium live gaming events, organizing professional competitions and running competitive gaming leagues. The acquisition expands Activision Blizzard’s reach across the esports ecosystem by adding proven live streaming capabilities and technologies to the Activision Blizzard Media Networks division, led by former ESPN CEO Steve Bornstein and MLG Co-founder Mike Sepso.

In an announcement from Mike Nichols, Corporate Vice President of Marketing for Xbox, Microsoft shared that 2015 was the biggest year in Xbox history with record global engagement and sales. On December 28 there were more gamers using Xbox Live than any other day in Xbox history. Every title in Microsoft’s exclusive 2015 holiday games line-up – Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6 and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition – sold over 1 million units, and the number of Xbox One gamers who played Microsoft Studios-published titles more than doubled compared to 2014.
