Fall Out Boy Live Performance Now Playable in Guitar Hero Live

Guitar Hero Live presents a brand new playable live performance from Fall Out Boy at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2015. The pop punk band delivers songs from their latest album American Beauty/American Psycho straight from KROQ’s annual holiday music festival, which are now playable in GHTV along with a new Premium Show called Pop Power!     Kasedo Games Announces Upwards, Lonely Robot

    Kasedo Games today announced that it will be publishing Random Layer’s upcoming title Upwards, Lonely Robot. In the puzzle platformer, you are the eponymous robot tasked with ascending a series of towers in the search for your creators. Upwards, Lonely Robot will launch on Steam later this year.

    Order of the Throne: The King’s Challenge Coming Next Week

    Indie developer Infamous Quests – the studios behind the adventure game Quest for Infany – today announced that their upcoming fantasy point-and-click adventure game Order of the Throne: The King’s Challenge will release on January 26th for PC.

    As a young bard by the name of Finn, players must venture forth into the Faerie Kingdom with nothing more but their wits and magic lute to aid them as they go in search for the missing Queen. As this is an annual challenge hosted by the King of Faerie Kingdom, Finn is not alone in his quest; the King has also summoned the bravest heroes of all the kingdoms in Uir to take up the challenge of finding his beloved Queen. Will Finn out-smart the King and the other challengers in his quest to rescue the Queen?

    Fortified – Launch Trailer

    A large armada of robotic space invaders will attack Earth February 3rd with the release of tower defense, third-person strategy shooter Fortified from indie developer Clapfoot. Xbox One players looking to save the world can enlist in the military starting today through pre-orders for $14.99. The game will also be available on Steam.

    Prison Architect Sentenced to Consoles

    Double Eleven today announced that Prison Architect is coming to consoles. Previously available on PC, the prison management game will be released on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4 this Spring for $29.99. The console editions include a fully-fledged story mode and sandbox mode with entirely new in-game community features allowing players to build, maintain and share their maximum security prisons with the touch of a button.

    Might and Delight Announce Paws

    Might and Delight today revealed details of their latest project – Paws. Paws is a return to the world of Shelter 2 where for the first time in the Shelter series you inhabit the role of a little, lost baby lynx on a mission to find its way home. The standalone adventure platformer is set for release on Steam and other retail outlets on March 24th.

    Meet the Bros. of Super Dungeon Bros.

    Wired Productions and React Games have released a brand new trailer for its rock-themed co-op dungeon brawler, Super Dungeon Bros, coming 2016 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Entitled “Meet the Bros,” the trailer officially introduces the game’s heavy metal-inspired heroes: Freddie, Lars, Axl, and Ozzie.

    Dreii Launches for PC on February 2nd

    Swiss developer Etter Studio, in collaboration with Bitforge, announced today that its physics conundrum, Dreii will be launching on PC on February 2nd. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions will launch soon after, with the Wii U version available later this Spring. Dreii is a puzzle game about skill, logic and friendship, that subtly connects players in real-time across the world, to help one another in a battle against gravity.

    Klaus Launches on PS4

    New Features Coming to Xbox One Preview This Month

    Microsoft is rolling out a host of updates to the Xbox One Preview audience starting today. Focused on continuing to improve social features to help you stay connected to the Xbox Live community, the updates include:

    • See who’s in a Party: Xbox One Preview participants will be able to see who’s in a Party before joining. When you view the profile of a friend who is in a Party in the guide, you will now be able to see who else they’re playing with. Click the ‘Chat’ button which appears immediately below the user to jump in and see who is in the Party.
    • Gamerscore Leaderboard: In Xbox One Preview, go to the Achievements section of your profile by clicking ‘View Achievements’ through the sign-in tab of the guide to check out the revived Gamerscore Leaderboard. Through the Gamerscore Leaderboard, see where you stand relative to your friends by comparing total gamerscore, as well as biggest gains over a rolling 30-day period. Click on the Gamerscore Leaderboard to see the full list of all your friends.
    • Re-arrange Pins on Home and access them offline: Many of you have told us that you want Pins on your Xbox One Home to be easier to organize. In Preview, you will now be able to rearrange individual pins. We also made Pins accessible for launching when you are offline.
    • Updating Activity Feed in Xbox One: Your activity feed in Xbox One Preview will inform you when there are new items in your feed. Clicking the link will take you to the top of your feed where you’ll see a run-down of the newest posts, so that you always have the freshest content at your fingertips.
    • Joinable Twitch Broadcasts: You want it to be easier to watch your friend’s game broadcasts. In Preview, Game Hubs as well as the game tile will allow you to easily launch Twitch.tv broadcasts if friends are broadcasting.
    • Improvements to Suggested Friends: Looking for people who you might know on Xbox or top content creators to follow? Check out the new Friend Suggestions area in Community and the Friends list in the Guide on Xbox One. Friend Suggestions include the gamertag, real name (if shared), gamerpic or Xbox Avatar image, and the reason the suggestion was made to you. Click through from the suggestion to view the member’s full profile and choose to grow your friends list.
    • Hide games from ‘ready-to-install’ list: Fans asked that we re-enable the ability to hide content like betas, trials, games, and apps that they no longer want to install. Xbox One Preview members will be able to start using this feature again.
