In honor of Unravel’s upcoming release on February 9th, EA and Coldwood have shared a new video showcasing how important music is as a storytelling device in a game without words. The music of Unravel, composed by two local Swedish musicians, becomes the voice of the game helping to establish the mood, atmosphere and emotions as players progress through their journey with Yarny.
Unravel will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Koei Tecmo today revealed information regarding in-game pre-order bonus content for Nights of Azure, a dark, demon-centric RPG and brand new IP from the studio behind the Atelier series, GUST. Additionally, Koei Tecmo expanded upon details on protagonist Arnice’s base of operations as well as her character progression system, as showcased by multiple gameplay videos. Nights of Azure will launch exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on March 29th.
When she isn’t fending off shadowy shapes and demonic dragons on the streets of Ruswal, Arnice takes solace in a local hotel to rest, trade, and prepare for the inevitable coming of the next night. At the Hotel, Arnice can buy and sell weapons and a variety of gear to aid her in battle and, after certain quests have been completed, she can trade with Lloyd, the merchant, and order rare and powerful items. Arnice can also pick up quests from the Hotel’s proprietor, Simon, to earn money and various items, as well as gain interesting insight into the lore and backstory of Nights of Azure. Furthermore, Arnice can gain entry to the Arena via the Hotel, which can be used to hone her skills and earn special rewards.
In addition to the information involving enemy combatants, Hotel activities, and Arena battles in Nights of Azure, Koei Tecmo announced today that those pre-ordering the game through Amazon, EB Canada, and GameStop will receive an additional supporting character – Gust-Chan. Unlike other supporting characters in Nights of Azure, players can use Gust-Chan in battle. Pre-ordering Nights of Azure via those retailers will also yield players a custom PlayStation 4 theme based on Gust-Chan. Those who pre-order from Best Buy will receive two custom PlayStation 4 themes based on Nights of Azure.
Bandai Namco today announced Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, an all-new massively multiplayer third-person shooter developed by Behaviour Interactive. Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade features a persistent world where players must choose from one of four factions and work together to take down opposing forces. The game will be available later in 2016 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam for PC.
In Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, four factions – Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Eldar, and Orks – plan their strategy and deploy their squads as they assault strongholds, defend outposts, and delve into the Underworld to combat hordes of Tyranids. Players must work in harmony both on and off the battlefield in order to advance their faction’s goals and establish supremacy over the enemy.

In February, we will continue to add more free content for all players, including a new Survival mission on Hoth, and a brand-new Hoth multiplayer map that will support larger game modes including Walker Assault, Supremacy, Fighter Squadron and Turning Point. Speaking of Turning Point, we will make this mode available on all maps that currently support Walker Assault and Supremacy in the February update.
In March, we will be adding another new multiplayer map on Endor that will support Walker Assault, Supremacy, and Turning Point, and an additional Tatooine Survival map.

Xbox One owners can be the first to try it out when the Closed Beta runs February 11-14 exclusively on Xbox One. Techland has released another episode of its ‘Highlights’ video series, in which the developer details the improvements and additional content being added to the upcoming Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition. The new video focuses on the Nightmare Mode, a new difficulty level that restricts overpowered Easter Egg weapons, introduces XP penalties for dying, ramps up the difficulty of enemies, and more.
