Wargaming today announced the first content update for World of Tanks on PlayStation 4 has gone live. The game, which has already surpassed 1 million registered users shortly after its January 19th release, has augmented its in-game tank arsenal with the addition of the British Tech Tree along with new maps. The Type-59 is also now available in the PlayStation Store for a limited time.
In this content update, World of Tanks brings over 40 British vehicles to the PlayStation 4 battlefield. A collection of light, medium, and heavy tanks along with tank destroyers and artillery join the fight. Command some of the most legendary vehicles in British history like the Crusader, Cromwell, and Conqueror. Additionally, some of the most notable maps in World of Tanks have been added to PlayStation 4, including “Siegfried Line,” “Fisherman’s Bay”, “Ensk War!” and many others. Players can also get to grips with the well-known “Westfield” map, as well its variant with weather conditions: “Westfield Rain”.
World of Tanks on PlayStation 4 is free to all PlayStation accounts and does not require a PlayStation Plus membership to play.
Bandai Namco has released the opening cinematic for Dark Souls III, available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam on April 12th. The cinematic introduces new characters players will encounter on their journey through the land of Lothric.
Io-Interactive invites players to join Agent 47 on his very first assignment for the International Contract Agency in the upcoming Hitman Beta.
Labeled “The Prologue”, the Beta takes place twenty years before the Paris Showstopper mission. Set in a secret ICA training facility, the Prologue features a pivotal moment in Agent 47’s life – his introduction to the ICA and very first meeting with his future handler Diana Burnwood. The Prologue features two free-form training hits, which will introduce players to the features and mechanics of the upcoming Hitman game. The Prologue will also be available as part of the first episode of Hitman releasing March 11th.
The only way to guarantee your access to the Hitman Beta is to pre-order the game digitally on PlayStation 4 or PC via Steam. Alternatively, you can pre-order the Collector’s Edition. Access to the Hitman Beta is available for the pre-orders of the Full Experience, Intro Pack and Collector’s Edition.
The PS4 Beta is scheduled to start at 8:00 PST on February 12th and ends on February 15th at 8:00 PST. The PC Beta is scheduled to start at 11:00 CET on February 19th and ends on February 22nd at 11:00 CET.

In addition, players will receive all the already released DLC packs (Science Friction and The Case of the Cold Chimichangas) for free and exclusively for Xbox One users, players will also receive a free Thor: Goddess of Thunder character to add to their roster. Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign is already available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and Thor: Goddess of Thunder will not be available for these platforms until March 15th.

Daybreak Game Company today announced the upcoming separation of the Early Access survival game H1Z1 into two independent games. H1Z1: King of the Kill is a multiplayer shooter comprised of a variety of new fight-to-the-death game modes, including Battle Royale. King of the Kill will come out of Early Access and launch this summer on consoles and PC. H1Z1, in turn, will now be called H1Z1: Just Survive, and will refine its focus on delivering a persistent, post-apocalyptic, open-world zombie experience where scavenging, crafting and base-building are the difference between life and death.
On February 17th, both H1Z1: Just Survive and H1Z1: King of the Kill will be available on PC through Steam Early Access for $19.99 USD each. All players who currently own or purchase H1Z1 on or before February 16th will be granted both games upon the separation.
Both Just Survive and King of the Kill will continue to progress in Steam Early Access under the umbrella of the H1Z1 universe, but will be developed with independent milestones by dedicated teams within Daybreak Games. King of the Kill will come out of Early Access and launch simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this summer. Just Survive will remain in Early Access through the end of the year.
