The characters Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima sprang to life in video games all the way back in 2005, but we got to experience their lives in the midst of their inglorious Yakuza careers, even seeing what life was like after getting out of the organization.
But now, with Yakuza 0, players get to step into the sartorially immaculate shoes of Kiryu and Majima *before* they became the Dragon and the Mad Dog (respectively). And when the game launches exclusively for the PlayStation 4 in early 2017, you’ll get to find out just how bad things can get for a Yakuza foot soldier.

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics will release the third Rise of The Tomb Raider content pack titled Cold Darkness Awakened on March 29th for PC on Steam and The Windows Store for $9.99. Players who have purchased the Season Pass or have downloaded the additional content separately will be able to continue the journey as Lara Croft takes on nightmarish predators in an abandoned Cold War base. Cold Darkness Awakened will also be available that same day for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Cold Darkness Awakened takes Lara to a decommissioned Cold War research base, which holds a dark past that has been unleashed into the Siberian wilderness. Frontier Developments today launched the Planet Coaster Early Bird Alpha for PC. Planet Coaster’s Early Bird Alpha places the game’s first creative tools in the hands of the community. Players can build rides, lay paths, place scenery and explore the modular construction system to create unique parks for their guests to explore.

GungHo Online Entertainment America and Camouflaj announced today that the stealth-action game République is now available on the PlayStation 4, which includes the series-concluding “Episode 5: Terminus,” also released on PC today. Exclusive to the PS4 edition is a new control scheme allowing players to take full control of Hope, the game’s protagonist.
In “Terminus,” the fifth and final episode, Hope’s story of escape becomes one of revenge, as she and the player learn that freedom can’t be won by running away.
“Terminus” is available with the full season on Steam for $24.99. PS4 players can purchase the retail version of the entire five-episode game for $24.99 USD / $39.99 CAD from participating retailers. The game is also available digitally on the PlayStation Store for the same price.

The Star Log, a live stream series focused on debuting new content and information for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness premiered last night.
In this episode, Square Enix debuted a new story trailer highlighting the journey Fidel and his friends must take to protect a mysterious young girl named Relia, who holds the key to the story. The team also debuted character spotlight videos for two of the main characters, Fidel and Miki. Finally, it was announced that players will be able to enjoy the game in dual-audio with the ability to switch between English and Japanese voice tracks with the option for English subtitles.

Out of the Park Developments today announced that Out of the Park Baseball 17 (OOTP 17) is now available through the company’s web site, Steam, and other online outlets.
OOTP 17 added an MLBPA license this year, a first for the long-running series, in addition to the license from MLB.com and MiLB.com that was introduced last year. The MLBPA license allows OOTP 17 to include realistic FaceGen images of MLB players, adding another layer of immersion on top of the game’s official MLB and MiLB league and team logos.

Hear from the team as they go back through the mansion doors to look at how the survival horror phenomenon began and its epic rise over the years. The first video is with producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, who has worked on many Resident Evil titles since the series’ beginning on March 22nd, 1996.
