Square Enix and DONTDOD Entertainment today announced that the first episode of the narrative driven game Life is Strange will be available to download for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC starting indefinitely from July 21st.
Square Enix today unveiled the “Day One Edition” of the building block game, Dragon Quest Builders. Players who pre-order will receive exclusive in-game building materials, including the Slimy Block recipe, Springtide Sprinkles recipe, and Gold Block recipe.
Dragon Quest Builders will arrive on October 11th for the PlayStation 4 (physical and digital) and PlayStation Vita (digital only).
The King of Fighters XIV demo is now available on the PlayStation Store. Although the demo doesn’t have online functionality, players will be able to practice local versus with seven characters (Kyo Kusanagi, Mai Shiranui, Iori Yagami, Sylvie Paula Paula, King of Dinosaurs, Shun’ei, and Nelson). The demo also comes with a free dynamic PS4 theme.
Atlus has also released a new trailer. Team China is comprised of the great master Tung Fu Rue and his two new students: the headphone rocking scene kid Shun’ei and the sleep loving Meitenkun. Tung Fu Rue has a lot of history with some members of the other teams, but he wants his new disciples to prove themselves during this tournament.
The King of Fighters XIV will be available on August 23rd exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

Square Enix announced that Hitman’s Summer Bonus Episode is live today. The Summer Bonus Episode consists of two separate ICA missions which catalogue Agent 47’s first trips to both Sapienza and Marrakesh. This Episode is not part of the story arc of Hitman, being previous ICA missions they are set apart from the main story.
In Sapienza, ‘The Icon’, sees the town taken over by a film crew shooting a new sci-fi blockbuster complete with a 100ft mechanical killer robot in the middle of the town square – what sort of accidents lie in wait with a whole film set, complete with pyrotechnics, at your disposal..?
And in ‘A House Built on Sand’ players will travel to the noisy and busy night markets of Marrakesh where Agent 47 must stop a billion dollar deal taking place.
The Summer Bonus Episode presents players with a range of new in-game Challenges and Opportunities that will keep them busy along with a new type of setting for Escalation Contracts and Elusive Targets.
The Summer Bonus Episode is available for players who own the Full Experience or own the combination of Intro Pack + Upgrade Pack, at no additional cost and will be available for download today. For all other players, the Summer Bonus Episode will be available for individual purchase later in the Season, packaged together with a third bonus mission for one price. At that time, Full Experience and Upgrade Pack owners will also get access to the third bonus mission at no additional cost.
Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios today announced that Neverwinter – the Dungeons & Dragons-based, free-to-play MMORPG – is now available for PlayStation 4. Adventurers will have access to the base game and nine expansions of content including the latest, The Maze Engine. PS4 adventurers can download all of this content for free starting today without a PlayStation Plus subscription.
Square Enix today announced I Am Setsuna, the debut title from Tokyo RPG Factory, is now available digitally on the PlayStation 4 and Steam for $39.99.
The game follows the story of Setsuna, a young woman of incredible power and inner strength, on her journey of sacrifice to save the people of her land. The word “setsuna,” derived from the Japanese “setsunai,” conveys bittersweet sorrow and serves as the foundational theme of the game.
