New challenges await in the Borderlands 3 Director’s Cut add-on, which is now available for purchase separately and available to download for owners of Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition or Season Pass 2. In addition, the brand new Disciples of the Vault cosmetic packs just debuted alongside Director’s Cut; two new loot machines have been added to the base game for use by all players; and Borderlands 3 has joined the PlayStation Now library.
Borderlands 3 Director’s Cut includes a Varkid raid boss named Hemovorous the Invincible, as well as an interplanetary murder mystery. You’ll also find the first of three planned Vault Cards. By completing Vault Card challenges, you gain progress toward unlocking themed rewards, including unique Legendary gear, tons of new cosmetic items, and a brand new in-game resource: Diamond Keys.
Respawn Entertainment today announced Apex Legends War Games, a new event featuring never-before-seen playlist modifiers, a new rewards track and a new set of challenges. Get a first-look at the game modes and all the content up for grabs when War Games launches on Tuesday, April 13th.
In Apex Legends War Games, each new playlist modifier will only last for a few days, but players will want to come back for the earnable cosmetics and goodies, including epic Rampart and 30-30 skins, five unlockable Battle Pass levels and more XP challenges refreshed daily. In addition, five modes will take over normal Play Apex playlists in rapid succession when War Games kick off next Tuesday.

Developer Midgard Studio and publisher Dear Villagers today announced that, after two years in Steam Early Access, their JRPG Edge Of Eternity will release on PC on June 8th with a launch update that adds 20 hours of additional gameplay and brings the game’s story to an end. To celebrate the announcement, the game will be available at a discount on Steam until April 13th and will be 33% off.
Edge Of Eternity was also announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S today. It’ll arrive on the next-gen consoles alongside the PS5, Xbox One and Game Pass versions, in the newly announced release window of Q4 2021.
Today, Electronic Arts unveiled EA Sports PGA Tour: Road to the Masters as the exclusive home of the historic Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. The Masters made its first-ever virtual appearance with EA Sports in 2011, and its return to video games has been highly requested by golf fans. Fred Ridley, Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament, unveiled the new cover of EA Sports PGA Tour today during his annual press conference before the 2021 Masters Tournament.
In addition to being the home of the Masters Tournament, EA Sports PGA Tour is the only video game where fans can compete at all four of golf’s major championships: the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, U.S. Open Championship, and The Open Championship. More information about each major championship will be revealed this summer.
Bandai Namco today announced that Pac-Man 99 will be available later today for the Nintendo Switch. In Pac-Man 99, ninety-nine Pac-Man players compete against each other until one remains. Chomp down on Power Pellets to activate special power-ups and send Jammer Pac-Man to opponents’ mazes to become the last Pac standing. Pac-Man 99 is a special offer for Nintendo Switch Online members at no additional cost.
A DLC bundle is also available to enhance your experience with additional modes and 20 alternate skins of classic Bandai Namco games including Dig Dug and Galaga. Focus Home Interactive and Passtech Games have partnered with Motion Twin and Evil Empire for “Curse of the Dead Cells,” a new crossover event featuring the indie roguelikes Curse of the Dead Gods and Dead Cells. On April 14th, players will be able to download a free update for Curse of the Dead Gods on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC featuring special new content inspired by Dead Cells.
