Bigmoon Entertainment today released new trailers for two of their upcoming games: the classical turn-based RPG Demons Age, and the survival horror game Syndrome. The Demons Age trailer gives a first introduction to the evil that looms over Moragon, and the Syndrome trailer shows a first glimpse of the atrocities that will await players when they wake up from cryosleep aboard a ravaged starship. Both games are expected to be available later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The NPD Group has released its retail report for the month of July. Hardware and software sales were down year-over-year in July by 30% and 5% respectively. Overall, total industry sales were down 14% to $559.1 million. Physical and Steam PC sales were down 12% year-over-year. Nintendo 3DS was the top-selling hardware platform for the month while Xbox One was the top-selling console platform.

Starting on September 22nd, prices for PlayStation Plus memberships will change to $59.99 USD / $69.99 CAD for twelve months and $24.99 USD / $29.99 CAD for three months. The monthly plan will change to $11.99 CAD in Canada, and remain $9.99 USD in the U.S. If you are a current member, the new prices will take effect if your membership renews on or after this date.
NIS America today announced that Disgaea 2 will be arriving on PC via Steam on January 30th. In addition to the upcoming release, four Disgaea 2 characters (Adell, Rozalin, Zetta, and Pleinair) are now playable in Disgaea for PC. Disgaea 2 for PC is the definitive edition that includes both Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories (PS2) and Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days (PSP) content. Disgaea 2 for PC will include Dark Eclair, Gig, and Miabel who were originally only in the Japanese version of the Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories release.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is marching ever closer to its October 25th launch date for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Via Steam, and today Namco Bandai shares some updates for the game.
Let’s start with the addition of Majin Vegeta; the Prince of Destruction himself is joining the battle in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Majin Vegeta is the most fearsome form that Vegeta takes after Babidi harnesses and manipulates the evil in Vegeta’s heart in order to control him. Majin Vegeta has incredible strength and stamina and also displays more muscle mass and definition compared to his normal self.
For players looking to share their Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 experience with friends, a new Expert Mission multiplayer mode will also be featured in the game that will enable six players to band together to take on giant NPC bosses.
Players that love going on quests within the Dragon Ball Z universe will be pleased to learn that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 features twice the amount of quests compared to the original Dragon Ball Xenoverse game and there will also be new parallel quests from the first game. Lastly, a new system controlling rare item drops that will give players the chance to hunt for their favorite costumes and accessories.
Saving the best news for last, an Open Beta for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is on the way with more details about coming soon. The Open Beta will give players the chance to explore Conton City, the new hub area for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 that is seven times larger than the previous hub city. Conton City will be the main area for players to find quests, receive training, and shop for items.

The Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Season Pass is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition and can also be secured on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and online stores for $29.99.
Postal Redux, the HD remaster of Running With Scissors’ twin-stick shooter, will receive a two to four-player online co-op mode on August 16th via a free update, with six additional maps coming at a later date.
Co-op will allow players to team up with friends or bots throughout the game’s seventeen levels. Finishing Postal Redux with an ally will unlock an all-new ending. The co-op update will also add cheat code support. Cheat codes will be revealed through Running With Scissors’ Twitter account, but some codes from the original Postal will still work.
A second free update, launching at a later date, will allow players to fight their way through six newly-remastered levels, including remakes of the maps from the Special Delivery expansion pack released in 1998; EZMart, La Palamino Resort, Earthquake and ShantyTown.
Two additional remastered levels from the Japan-exclusive Super Postal will make their worldwide debut, allowing players to tear through the Tokyo and Osaka maps for the first time.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes to Steam Early Access on September 15th for $44.99 USD, inviting players to journey through the opening portion of the campaign and prove their skills in the online PvP Arena.
Bandai Namco announced that Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade will be launching for PC on September 23rd with the console version to follow at a later date.
