Square Enix announced today that SaGa Frontier Remastered, the HD remaster of the JRPG classic SaGa Frontier, is now available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
SaGa Frontier Remastered features remastered graphics, newly added scenario content starring fan-favorite Fuse as the new eighth playable character, and all-new character events. Other game feature updates include double and triple speed boosts, New Game+ Mode, a newly redesigned UI, a story chart feature, and autosave.
Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games in partnership with Nickelodeon today announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is bringing its classically inspired brawling action to Nintendo Switch. The news was part of Nintendo’s Indie World presentation and follows previous confirmation of the game coming to PC.
Indie developer Night School Studio and publisher MWM Interactive have revealed Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, the sequel of the narrative-driven adventure game Oxenfree. Five years after the events of the original, Oxenfree II: Lost Signals features an all-new cast of characters for a supernatural mystery-thriller they will shape in unexpected ways with the choices they make. Oxenfree II: Lost Signals will be available this Fall.
During the latest Indie World video presentation, Nintendo detailed 21 games from independent developers that are coming to Nintendo Switch – with three launching later today.
Indie games featured in the showcase include Road 96, a procedural story-driven game from DigixArt that will change depending on the choices you make; OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, a sequel to the original supernatural game from Night School Studio; OlliOlli World, Roll7’s new skateboarding action game; a pair of new games from publisher Annapurna Interactive; and The Longing, an experimental real-time adventure from Studio Seufz that launches today for Nintendo Switch.
Additionally, an Indie World sale is starting today in Nintendo eShop, offering discounts on select indie games for Nintendo Switch from now until April 25th.

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition team at BioWare published a new blog post, this time detailing the game’s visual improvements and how the team stayed true to the original visual aesthetics of the trilogy while making the games look like even better versions of themselves.
The blog details the many ways that the team improved the visuals of the games, including how they identified and catalogued every asset in the trilogy, improved assets by hand, and broader improvements to entire levels that spanned beyond improving individual assets.

Square Enix is setting the stage for the next major adventure in Final Fantasy XIV Online with today’s release of Patch 5.5. The update, titled Death Unto Dawn, introduces climatic new story content set to lead directly into upcoming fourth expansion Endwalker, alongside the third chapter of YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse — the NieR-inspired alliance raid featuring the work of guest creators Yosuke Saito and Yoko Taro. The patch also brings battle content, system updates, and more.
Today also marks the start of open beta for the PlayStation 5 version of Final Fantasy XIV Online. Players can look forward to a range of new features and additions, including framerate improvements, faster load times, 4K resolution support, DualSense haptic feedback, new trophies, and 3D audio support.
Users with a PlayStation 4 license registered to their account can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 Upgrade Edition at no extra cost at the start of the open beta period, while new players can experience the game on the PlayStation 5 via the Free Trial version. The full PlayStation 5 version will be available for purchase following the conclusion of the open beta.
