Iceberg Interactive has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming horror adventure title Conarium, available Q1 2017 for PC and later in 2017 on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Conarium, which refers to a sinister device hooked up to the brain, is inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s novella “At the Mountains of Madness”, but largely plays after the events in the original story, set in an Antarctic base.
Originally expected for the end of this year, Styx: Shards of Darkness will finally arrive in Q1 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Patrick Pligersdorffer, CEO at Cyanide Studio, explains, “With this new episode of Styx we updated our engine from Unreal 3 to Unreal 4. This update has brought so much to the Styx series, from graphical enhancements to new gameplay mechanics and features. The engine transition has required some time for our team to adapt to. We’re dedicated to providing the best stealth experience possible for players, so in agreement with our publisher Focus, we are delaying the game until the first quarter of 2017.”

The Canadian League of Gamers announced it is working together with The Coalition and Xbox Canada to host a Canadian Gears of War 4 qualifying event November 12-13 in Montreal, QC, Canada.
The Northern Arena Gears of War 4 Canadian Qualifier will bring eight of the top Canadian Gears of War 4 teams to Montreal to battle for a spot at the first Gears Pro Circuit event at the end of November, the MLG Columbus Open. All eight teams will receive travel to Montreal and accommodations to compete at Northern Arena. The winning team will receive a $10,000 CAD grand prize plus airfare and accommodation to the MLG Columbus Open. Second prize is $5,000 CAD.
In order for your team to be eligible for this qualifier, you must have an entirely Canadian roster (all five players must be Canadian) and create a team on GameBattles to start playing the Gears Pro Circuit MLG GameBattles ladder and weekly tournaments to earn Gears Pro Points. By October 31st, you must submit your roster of five players to leagueops@mlg.tv. The top eight teams with the highest total of Gears Pro Points will receive paid travel to Montreal, Quebec in Canada to compete at the Northern Arena Gears of War 4 Canadian Qualifier.
On Saturday, November 12th, all eight teams will face off in a double elimination, Gears of War 4 Escalation mode, best-of-one tournament. The top two teams remaining from Saturday’s event will compete against each other in the final on Sunday, November 13th in front of a live audience at the Bell Centre in Montreal for the grand prize of $10,000 and a paid trip to the MLG Columbus Open on November 25-27.
