Headup Games today announced that the strategy game Townsmen is coming to Steam on November 30th. To celebrate the landing of the franchise on PC, Headup Games will be offering the game for $9.99 during launch week, a 17% discount from the regular price of $11.99. Ubisoft has announced that the open beta of Steep is now available for download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
During this beta phase, which will end on November 21st, players will be able to tackles the slopes of the Alps before the release of Steep on December 2nd. Players who participate in this open beta phase will receive an exclusive Crash Test Dummy outfit that can be used in the game at launch.
Inspired by the Alps, Steep’s surroundings include the Tyrol, the Aravis mountain range and the Aiguilles. During their adventure, players will also discover nine Stories of the Mountain, scripted challenges to live unique moments in the world of Steep. Successful challenges and Stories of the Mountain unlock new material that players can use to personalize their rider (including a giraffe outfit available during this open beta phase).
In addition, Steep’s development team will be presenting a live stream from Ubisoft Annecy’s studio at 7 pm on www.twitch.tv/ubisoft. Four members of the team will give their advice on how to carve out the best lines and provide additional details on the Open Beta Dev Challenges contest.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today the release of six expansion packs for LEGO Dimensions, featuring Sonic The Hedgehog, Gremlins, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Adventure Time, and a whole new game world from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
All expansion packs in this latest wave feature Battle Arenas with competitive split-screen local gameplay for up to four players. LEGO minifigures included in the expansion packs come with special golden Toy Tags which unlock a free play Adventure World of the corresponding entertainment brand, as well as a battle arena that can be reached through Vorton. Players can explore Adventure Worlds for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Sonic The Hedgehog, Gremlins, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, and Adventure Time, and also play four gameplay modes within the battle arenas, including Capture the Flag, Objective, Base Bash, and Tick, Tag, Boom!. Each arena comes with its own traps, defenses, and special powers that make every Battle Arena unique. Battles can be played competitively or cooperatively in multiple player configurations including 2 vs 2, 3 vs 1, and individually against the system AI.
2K today announced that NBA 2K17 will kick off an in-game music series dubbed Park After Dark, tipping off on November 26th. Park After Dark will transform NBA 2K17’s MyPARK mode into a high-energy music destination with special performances from music icons, including Future, Snoop Dogg AKA “DJ SNOOPADELIC”, DJ Premier and more to be announced. These one-of-a-kind performances are open to anyone with NBA 2K17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Park After Dark will feature an eclectic nighttime setting reminiscent of today’s biggest music festivals, complete with a center stage for the performance featuring a superstar avatar, glowing décor and MyPLAYER apparel, and light shows to make this the most lit NBA 2K experience ever. Players who attend can compete in traditional MyPARK games while they soak in the ambiance or opt for exclusive Park After Dark 3Pt Shoot-Out and Dunk Show-off challenges.
Indie developer 13AM Games today announced that their party game Runbow is now available on PC via Steam for $14.99. Runbow features a color mechanic that has racers brawl amongst each other while objects and platforms appear or disappear based on the continually changing background color. Along with three online and local multiplayer modes, Runbow features two single-player modes, as well as the Satura’s Adventure DLC campaign that will test the skills and minds of any seasoned platformer.

In the solo campaign you play as a Librarian of the Dark Angels’ 1st Company, the Deathwing, taking on swarms of Genestealer in the Space Hulk Olethros with Storm Bolter and Force Sword in hand. The Librarian is a Psyker, granting him access to powerful psychic abilities such as chain lighting, a powerful lightning bolt, which arcs between multiple enemies; and Shockwave, which blasts enemies back from you. You will need to utilize the full armory of the Deathwing company, your powerful psychic abilities, as well as the squad members under your command to fend off the xenos threat.
Space Hulk: Deathwing will be available for PC on Decemeber 8th before landing on consoles in early 2017. Pre-purchasing through Steam will gain you access to the pre-order beta, beginning end of November, 15% off and one in-game weapon – the Lost Mace of Corswain.
