Sony Interactive Entertainment today announced that PlayStation 4 has cumulatively sold through more than 50 million units to consumers worldwide as of December 6th, 2016, having enjoyed the best ever Black Friday week in the history of PlayStation. This includes the sales of PlayStation 4 Pro, which launched last month.
Activision Blizzard today launched the Call of Duty Endowment Courage Personalization Pack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for PlayStation 4, which includes a full suite of exclusive content: Weapon Camo and Weapon Accessory, a Reticle and Emblem, plus an animated Calling Card. The pack retails for $4.99 in the in-game store and the Sony and Microsoft online stores. It will be available soon for Xbox One.
To celebrate the Courage Personalization Pack, Infinity Ward will host a Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare stream from the livestreaming room at the Infinity Ward studio. The stream, which will include developers, some of the game’s cast, members of the community, and special guests, will be broadcast on the Twitch Call of Duty channel on December 9th beginning at 2:00pm EST.
Benefitting from this launch is The Call of Duty Endowment, a nonprofit founded by Activision Blizzard, that helps veterans find high-quality jobs after their military service. The Endowment has placed over 29,000 veterans into jobs to date and Activision will help by donating 100% of all proceeds directly to the Endowment’s mission to help veterans secure quality careers.
Today, DICE released the fourth and final expansion pack to Star Wars Battlefront for all Season Pass owners. In Stars Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif, players can experience all-new battles and content inspired by the movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Players will be able to touch down from space onto the planet of Scarif and fight across the beaches and jungle, with the defiant Jyn Erso and the cruel but brilliant director of Advanced Weapons Research, Orson Krennic, as two new playable heroes. Players can also blast opponents in a brand new multi-stage Infiltration mode, try out the new A180 and DT-29 blasters and the Sonic Imploder star card.
Also available today is the Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-wing VR Mission, available as a free download for PlayStation VR on PlayStation 4. In this mission, players can put themselves in the cockpit of an X-wing and dogfight in the far reaches of space.

Developed by Ubisoft Paris, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a military shooter set in an open world, entirely playable in single-player or up to four-player co-op. Players will discover Bolivia a few years from now, a country turned into a narco-state by the vicious Santa Blanca drug cartel. Sent behind enemy lines, Ghosts will have to cripple the Santa Blanca cartel’s operation, breaking alliances between the drug lords and the corrupted government, and saving the Bolivian population from the cruelty of El Sueño, Santa Blanca’s ruthless leader. To do so, players will have a total freedom of choice to accomplish their missions how they want and watch as the world reacts to their actions.

Io-Interactive today announced new Holiday Content for Hitman arriving next week on December 13th, which will be released in support of World Cancer Research Fund.
The mission, ‘Holiday Hoarders’ is new bespoke content set in Paris. Using the Showstopper mission as a backdrop, Paris has been given a festive overhaul with Christmas trees, decorations and presents throughout the Palace. Unfortunately not everyone at the fashion show is there to spread festive joy. Two thieves have gained entrance to the fashion show event and are stealing presents. As Agent 47, it’s your job to stop them. Feel free to open up some of the presents you find as some of the content will be handy to get the job done…..oh and listen out for the sleigh bells for a surprise guest, whose suit might come in handy…!

Rebellion today revealed “Italy 1943″, the first in a series of new story trailers for Sniper Elite 4. “Italy 1943″ recounts the intricate machinations behind the Allied invasion of Italy. In Sniper Elite 4, Karl Fairburne will help release the country from the shackles of Fascism, fanning the flames of resistance, and in doing so uncover a terrifying Nazi technology threatening the whole of Europe.
Sniper Elite 4 launches across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 14th.
Zenimax Online Studios today unveiled details for Homestead, the next major new feature for the online RPG, The Elder Scrolls Online, which will add player-owned and customizable housing to the game. In addition to the ability to acquire nearly 40 different homes across the game world, players will also be able to buy or craft more than 2,000 furniture and décor items using their existing crafting skills and place those items anywhere in their new homes to make each property truly unique.
Homestead is expected to release in February as a free update for all players of The Elder Scrolls Online on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
At the PlayStation Experience this past weekend, Square Enix revealed that NieR: Automata will be released on March 7th for the PlayStation 4. Fans and newcomers alike are also invited to get their hands on the action-RPG in a newly announced demo, coming soon to the PlayStation Network.

Book of Demons, Thing Trunk’s deck-building hack & slash, today receives its second class: the Mage. With today’s update, players can collect and combine 16 new class cards to overcome papercraft-like adversaries using the Mage’s spell-focused play style.
Book of Demons launched on Steam Early Access in July. The third and final class is set to release early 2017.
