Zen Studios today announced its latest entry to the Star Wars Pinball franchise, Star Wars Pinball: Rogue One. Join Jyn Erso and the rest of Rogue One as they use any means necessary to steal the Death Star plans and restore hope to the galaxy in this table based on the film.

The Empire has begun testing a major weapon, and the Rebel Alliance needs to find out how to destroy it. The Star Wars Pinball: Rogue One table features 10 story-related game modes, each one with its own set of playfield toys and goals. You must avoid stormtrooper detection in stealth missions, hold your own in firefights and combat missions, evade the footsteps of an AT-ACT walker, navigate the U-wing to shoot down TIE strikers as the ship’s gunner, and face off against Director Krennic and his Death Troopers in a white-knuckle multiball mode.

Bethesda Softworks today announced that Dishonored 2’s second free game update with additional Custom Difficulty Settings and Mission Select is now available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Dishonored 2 now offers even more freedom of choice and options to play your own way with the additional Custom Difficulty settings. Further customize your experience with the more than 20 different sliders to tailor everything from how quickly Sleep Darts take effect to how many active enemies are likely to attack you at once. A special slider is also included in the Custom Difficulty settings for those seeking the ultimate challenge with Iron Mode. Toggle on Iron Mode when starting a new game and, without manual saves or loads, live with the consequences of your actions or face permadeath because of them.

Maximum Games and developer Rock Nano Global today announced it will release ArmaGallant: Decks of Destiny, a deck-building game blending elements of RTS and MOBA gameplay, on April 4th exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
In ArmaGallant: Decks of Destiny, players will battle across varied maps, defending their monoliths and capturing enemy map points using armies built from a collection of creatures and spells. Battles are fast-paced and deployed in real-time. Players can go head-to-head or engage in 2v2 online play and private matches with friends. Square Enix today announced that I Am Setsuna, the debut title from Tokyo RPG Factory, will be available as a digital day one launch title for the Nintendo Switch on March 3rd, and will include exclusive new features such as the “Temporal Battle Arena,” where players can enjoy battles against other players’ parties.
The NPD Group has released its retail report for the month of December. Both console and PC software sales were down year-over-year in December by 12% and 13%, respectively. Hardware sales were also down 20% year-over-year. Overall, total industry sales were down 15% to $2.8 billion. For the second month in a row, PlayStation 4 was the top-selling console.

Activision today announced that Call of Duty is the #1 top-selling console video game franchise globally for 2016 based on revenue. This marks the seventh time in the last eight years that Activision’s on-going franchise has been the top-selling console franchise worldwide, and the eighth consecutive year in the U.S. According to NPD, the most recent release, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the #1 top-selling video game on console in the U.S. for 2016 based on total revenue and units sold from physical and digital sales (excluding hardware bundle sales).
Tim Sweeney, founder of Epic Games, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award during the 17th annual Game Developers Choice Awards. In addition to establishing Epic Games, Sweeney is the creator of the iconic games ZZT and Unreal, and is the main architect of the influential Unreal Engine.
The Choice Awards ceremony, which immediately follows the Independent Games Festival Awards, will take place on March 1st at 9:30 pm ET at the Moscone Convention Center during the 2017 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. The ceremonies are available to attend for all GDC 2017 pass-holders and will be livestreamed on the GDC’s official Twitch channel at www.twitch.tv/gdc.
