Puyo Puyo Tetris Coming April 25th

If you have the insatiable urge to stack, match, and clear colorful objects you’re in luck, because Puyo Puyo Tetris is coming to the Americas on April 25th for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Get ready to dive into a colorful puzzle cocktail blended with a variety of Puyo Puyo and Tetris game modes, including:

  • Versus – Players compete head-to-head in either Puyo Puyo or Tetris to fight in the puzzle fight of their life.
  • Swap – Players’ abilities are put to the ultimate test when they compete on both Puyo Puyo and Tetris boards, which switch back and forth at set intervals.
  • Fusion – A true hybrid game where players compete with Puyos and Tetriminos together on the same board, requiring deft, on-the-fly thinking to become victorious.
  • Big Bang – It’s a race to the finish as players compete against each other to clear unique challenge boards as quickly as possible to win.
  • Party – Players compete on Puyo or Tetris boards, but the puzzles feature special items that when activated either help players or harm their opponents.

The PlayStation 4 version will be available only in a physical format for $29.99, but the Nintendo Switch version will be available digitally for $29.99 and physically for $39.99, with a special launch edition that includes two Puyo Puyo- and Tetris-themed keychains while supplies last.

Project Cars 2 Announced

Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios today announced their publishing partnership to bring Project Cars to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in late 2017. Project Cars 2 features an expanded roster of over 170 cars and 60+ tracks, brand-new fan-requested Online Championships game mode, and additional racing disciplines – including ice, dirt, snow, and mud racing – over its predecessor. All of this racing action can be presented at up to 12K resolution graphics (PC) with VR support.

WRC 6 Races Onto Consoles and PC on March 3rd

Bandai Namco and Bigben Interactive today announced that WRC 6, a new entry in the rally racing series, will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam on March 3rd.

Developed by Kylotonn Racing Games, WRC 6 is an extreme motorsport challenge that offers the complete rally experience with accurately reproduced special stages, teams, and drivers from the World Rally Championship. In addition, the game offers 11 new Super Special Stages that combine unique driving challenges with environments from around the world, 100% accurate with the real stages. Impact Winter Coming to Steam on April 12th

Bandai Namco today announced plans to launch Impact Winter for PC via Steam on April 12th, with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions to become available digitally later in 2017.

This post-apocalyptic survival game will have players taking the role of Jacob Solomon, survivor of an extinction level event caused by a giant asteroid impacting Earth. The resulting devastation and death caused by this environmental catastrophe has plunged the planet into sub-zero temperatures and covered its remaining inhabitants under unprecedented amounts of snow. Just when Jacob thinks all is lost, he discovers a snow-buried church and bands together with the inhabitants within, each contributing to the group’s overall survival by utilizing their individually unique skills to survive. Just when hope is at its bleakest, a radio transmission is received by the group promising rescue in 30 days, this message inspires the survivors to push on in their quest to stay alive, but will they all survive to be rescued?

RiftStar Raiders Announced

British game developer Climax Studios today revealed their new co-op space shoot ‘em up, RiftStar Raiders, to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.

In RiftStar Raiders players will enlist their most reliable teammates to shoot and loot their way through nine unique co-op missions. They will face off in top-down combat against the galaxy’s four most deadly factions, from rival pirate gangs to the AI hive mind known as WarSwarm.

Pilots will maximize their profit by looting cash and perks from adversaries, using them to craft and upgrade their ship’s systems, weapons, shields and boost engines. They can experiment with a wide variety of potential loadout combinations to modify and adapt their play style to each mission. From a tank that takes the hits to a spacecraft that focuses on team support or a damage dealer that goes first into the fight, players need to collaborate and strategize to create the ideal squad.

The Spiral Arm galaxy is under threat from imminent WarSwarm invasion in RiftStar Raiders, as the Federation’s most infamous smugglers and outlaws it is the player’s chance to save the day… and profit.
