This weekend, attendees of PAX East will get a sneak peek of new and updated content in hands-on sessions of LawBreakers, the first-person shooter from game designer Cliff Bleszinski and Boss Key Productions. The following weekend, the long-awaited Beta phase begins, featuring new content changes based on player feedback from the 2016 alpha, including the debut of multiple roles that offer a greater variety of play-styles, improved game balance, additional maps and much more. Players can sign up now for the chance to be invited to the first closed beta test, running on Steam next week from March 16th – March 19th. Relic Entertainment and Sega today announced the official release date for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III. The third instalment of the real-time strategy franchise will be released on April 27th, and is available to pre-order now at www.dawnofwar.com and selected retailers.
Dawn of War III is available in three formats: Collector’s Edition, Limited Edition, and Standard Edition. The Collector’s Edition will include a premium disc book, a lenticular art card, the official soundtrack, a replica of the Godsplitter Daemon Hammer, three mounted cloth faction banners and the Masters of War Skin Pack. The Limited Edition will include the premium disc book, the lenticular art card and the official soundtrack.
All editions pre-ordered before the game’s release will include the Masters of War Skin Pack, a collection of three cosmetic skins for Dawn of War III’s Super Walker Elites – the Dark Queen skin for Lady Solaria (Imperial Knight), the Ghost Seer skin for Farseer Taldeer (Wraithknight) and the Big Kustom skin for Beauty (Morkanaut). Players who do not pre-order will still be able to deploy the three Super Walkers in their original forms.
CI Games has announced that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will be delayed until April 25th.
After some internal discussion with the development team, a decision was made to delay the release three more weeks to complete some final implementations based on feedback CI Games received during the beta.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Red Barrels today announced a worldwide distribution agreement for Outlast Trinity, a physical bundle that packages the upcoming Outlast 2 with Outlast and Outlast Whistleblower downloadable content. Outlast Trinity will be available beginning April 25th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the same day Outlast 2 launches on digital platforms.
Spike Chunsoft, at their first-ever Western press event last night, revealed several new projects and confirmed launch dates for its games. Leading the evening’s line up of unveilings was Fire Pro Wrestling World. After a 10-year hiatus, director Tomoyuki Matsumoto’s Fire Pro Wresting World brings the franchise to PC and PlayStation 4, with Steam Early Access confirmed for this Summer. Building upon the core gameplay, the game will offer improved graphics, updated features and online matchmaking.
Announcements for the Danganronpa series included: PC releases for Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, set to launch July 27th and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will release September 26th; and a VR prelude to the upcoming PS4 game Danganronpa 1 • 2 Reload, titled Cyber Danganronpa: The Class Trial, which will be free for PlayStation Plus members for PlayStation VR on March 7th.
Director and writer Kotaro Uchikoshi revealed his new project, code-named Psync, alongside details for Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, a collection which includes HD remasters of the room escape visual novel games Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (999), as well as the sequel to 999, Virtue’s Last Reward, which will launch March 24th for PC.
The company also announced that the visual novel game 428: Shibuya Scramble will be released in Western territories on PlayStation 4 and PC in early 2018.
Bandai Namco and Bigben Interactive today released WRC 6, a new entry in the rally racing series, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam. WRC 6 enables players take on all 14 official rallies, play-as or against the official drivers and teams in the 2016 FIA rally season for a complete racing series.

Square Enix today announced that PlatinumGames’ upcoming Action-RPG, NieR: Automata, will be available on Steam beginning March 17th. Those who pre-purchase the Steam Day One Edition will receive an exclusive “Valve Character Accessory,” as well as other Day One Edition bonus content, including the Machine Mask Accessory, Grimoire Weiss Pod, Retro Grey Pod Skin, Retry Red Pod Skin, and Cardboard Pod Skin.
Konami announced today that Super Bomberman R is now available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. The premise of the Nintendo Switch edition remains faithful to its origins, while also adding new elements including the ability to customize the central heroes.
Super Bomberman R also features a special in-game store where players can use free ‘Gems’ acquired during the game to add a variety of fun accessories, including: shells, lanterns and hats; new characters with unique bombs; and new levels featuring additional hazards such as trampolines and moving floors to the main game.
