Developer Sumo Digital have released the second video developer diary for Snake Pass titled – Snake Biology – Getting Technical. The team explores the technical features that make Snake Pass come to life, including character movements, grass and lighting.
Snake Pass launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™and PC on March 28th.
Versus Evil, in partnership with indie developer Stoic, today announced the release of the Banner Saga 2’s new game mode, Survival, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Survival Mode pushes players to the limit as they try to survive 40 back-to-back combat levels. Console gamers who already purchased Banner Saga 2 can buy the Survival Mode addition for $4.99. The Banner Saga Complete Pack which includes both The Banner Saga and Banner Saga 2 games will also now include the additional Survival Mode DLC.
The first chapter in the Sniper Elite 4 DLC, Deathstorm, will be available on March 21st on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with a couple of free multiplayer add-ons.
Deathstorm Part 1: Inception is the opening chapter and mission in the three-part campaign, playable from start to finish for 1-2 players. Set after the events of the main game, the first chapter takes players to the colder terrain of northern Italy, and a Nazi naval base recently targeted in a bombing run.
The Night Fighter Expansion Pack also arrives on March 21st. It includes three new weapons, night-time camo rifle skins for eight weapons and new male and female character skins. Additionally, players will be able to experience the new, free Elimination mode for up to 12 players, as well as the first free multiplayer map Night Woods.

2K and Firaxis Games announced that a free playable demo of Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is available starting today for PC on Steam.
Players who download the Civilization VI demo will be able to play as China, led by Qin Shi Huang and take their first steps building a new civilization for up to 60 turns in to the game. For those completely new to the Civilization series the demo also includes the tutorial from the full game to introduce and guide beginners to the world of Civilization.
Alongside the release of the demo, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI will be part of the ‘2K Publisher Sale’ starting today for PC on Steam, where Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Digital Deluxe, and premium DLC packs will be available for purchase at a discounted price for a limited time.
Aksys Games and Arc System Works today announced that Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 will release as a standalone physical and digital release on the PlayStation 4 on May 26th. Rev 2 will also be available as a digital upgrade via the PlayStation Network for Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator- on the PS4 and PS3. The digital upgrade will retail for $19.99 and the standalone release will retail for $39.99. Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 features new fighters, moves, story chapters and more.
The first closed beta test for Cliff Blezsinski’s upcoming FPS, Lawbreakers, begins today. Players who participated in the Alpha will experience a lot of changes, including new roles (Battle Media, Juggernaut and Gunslinger), new maps (Mammoth and Station), in-game achievements and more.
While this first beta test is limited, players can still sign up for the chance to be included in future beta tests on the official website.
