Capcom today announced that it will be offering PC players a free glimpse into several new features and enhancements coming to Street Fighter V’s Capcom Fighters Network (CFN) online experience. Beginning on March 28th at 4pm EST and running to April 3rd at 3pm PST, current and new Street Fighter V players will be able to experience the improved CFN system and test out the new Season 2 balance adjustments for free.
This trial offer will be limited to Steam users and will only feature online modes, but will be completely free to play for both current and new players. All available characters, including the recently-released Kolin, will be unlocked for play. Once the test is concluded, Capcom will make further adjustments to optimize the new CFN and it will make its official release to both PlayStation 4 and PC players soon after.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today unveiled a new Injustice 2 trailer that showcases Supergirl and her place in the war between Batman’s resistance and Superman’s regime. In Shattered Alliances Part 3, players can catch a glimpse of her side of the story and the daunting foes that she faces.
Injustice 2 will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16th.

DotEmu and Lizardcube unveiled today a brand-new character for Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. Along with Wonder Boy in his classic form, you can now play as Wonder Girl, a female character who is just as strong, just as fierce as the titular male hero.

Developer Sumo Digital have released the third video developer diary for Snake Pass titled “Natural Camouflage – Developing the Art Style.” In this developer diary the team discusses how Snake Pass developed from the initial Game Jam build to the tropical paradise, where players slither, curl and climb their way through increasingly challenging worlds.

2K and Firaxis Games today revealed that Alexander the Great will lead Macedon in Sid Meier’s Civilization VI.
Alexander the Great, born in 356 BC, was a king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon and one of the greatest conquerors the world has ever known. Alexander’s military campaign stretched from Greece on through Asia and northeast Africa, subsequently overthrowing Persian king Darius III and dispatching the Persian Empire in its entirety – all before his 30th birthday.
While undefeated in battle, Alexander met his end during his decade-long campaign. After pushing his war-weary and homesick soldiers into India in 326 BC, they implored him to turn back and he acquiesced, passing away three years later in the city he had planned to make the capital of his empire: Babylon.
