Today Deep Silver announced the formation of a new studio that will bring the TimeSplitters brand back to life. Key original members of the Free Radical Design team, including founders Steve Ellis and David Doak, have reunited to reform Free Radical Design. The Free Radical Design team will commence development on the next TimeSplitters game in the coming months; for now they are concentrating on building the studio.
Activision today announced World Series of Warzone, a new program that will feature online events, prizing, and plenty of competition.
WSOW will showcase four online Call of Duty: Warzone competitions with a $300,000 prize pool per event – the largest program prize pool of any previous Warzone tournaments to date. The semi-invitational program will be separate trios- and duos-based competitions for each of the NA and EU regions.
Fans can expect some of the biggest Warzone stars, streamers, and community members to squad up to battle for massive prizes in a custom Warzone lobby competition.

Wired Productions and indie developer Tomas Sala today announced the release of an enhanced version of The Falconeer for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on August 5th. The Falconeer: Warrior Edition includes all updates and additional content released to-date, as well as an all-new content pack, Edge of the World. Further additions also include the re-recording of significant voice-over work, and a streamlined prologue tutorial.

Two ‘80s Action Heroes are crashing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone this week with a mid-season update.
One is John McClane, a New York cop who arrives at a holiday party turned hostage situation. He’s the hero of the Die Hard films, one of the most iconic action movie series of all time.
The other is Rambo, a man double-crossed while on a clandestine mission and left to fight on his own in Rambo: First Blood Part II, which continued to inspire countless action movies since its release in 1985.
The ’80s Action Heroes event kicks off with limited-time bundles and game modes, in addition to the weapons, maps, and other features already expected during this season. This content will be live on May 19th at 12am ET / 9pm PT, following updates to Black Ops Cold War on May 18th at 12am ET / 9pm PT and in Warzone on May 19th at 12am ET / 9 pm PT.

Frontier Developments announced today that, after a successful 5-week public Alpha phase, Elite Dangerous: Odyssey releases on May 19th for PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and FrontierStore.net. Releases on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are planned for Fall 2021.
