Agents of Mayhem Coming August 15th

Deep Silver announced today that Agents of Mayhem will be releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam on August 15th. When the Agents weren’t busy taking down Dr. Babylon and generally causing havoc around Seoul, they took a brief recess to show you a little more about themselves and what they can do in this new trailer.

After the horrors of Devil’s Night, the world was left in ruins from the devastation that the shadowy supervillain organization LEGION (League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations) had left in its wake.

They needed heroes.

They got the Agents of MAYHEM (Multinational AgencY for Hunting Evil Masterminds).

In a case of bad versus evil this elite band of often unstable misfits, armed with a variety of crazy weapons, work under the watchful eye of Persephone Brimstone, ex-LEGION lieutenant, and her assistant Friday, to bring down LEGION and its mysterious leader, the Morningstar.

Explore the city of Seoul with a diverse cast of twelve interchangeable agents that you can assemble into squads of three, each with their own distinct look, sense of humor, weapons, and skillset. Players can build and customize their squads however they choose, switching from Daisy, a mini-gun wielding, beer-swigging, foul-mouthed roller derby girl, to Rama, an immunologist with a futuristic bow firing energy arrows, to Red Card, a loveable but psychotic German soccer hooligan with a temper that can literally clear a crowd.

With a toy box of twelve unique agents to choose from, players can jump between reality TV star/pretty boy Hollywood, to sky pirate and internationally infamous thief Fortune, as the open-world missions demand.

So kick back, cue the action music and find out how to create your A-Team of agents.

Available for PC in 2017, Total War: Warhammer II will be the second release in an ongoing partnership between developer Creative Assembly and Games Workshop, creators of the Warhammer Fantasy Battles tabletop wargame and miniatures.

Destiny 2 Announced, Launching September 8th

Bungie and Activision today announced Destiny 2, the sequel to Destiny, a first-person action game that takes the player on a journey to defend humanity from annihilation. The official Destiny 2 reveal trailer, “Rally the Troops,” debuted a character-driven glimpse at Destiny 2’s story today. Additionally, the first hands-on gameplay reveal livestream will be broadcast on May 18th. The broadcast will showcase a variety of activities within Destiny 2, and will highlight the brand-new adventure waiting for players. With a fresh start for all players right from the opening cinematic, Destiny 2 will release on September 8th. Destiny 2 will be available on PlayStation 4 with additional, timed exclusive content, Xbox One (PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription, respectively, required for significant features), and for the first time in Destiny’s history, Destiny 2 is coming to PC.

In Destiny 2, the last safe city on Earth has fallen and lay in ruins, occupied by a powerful new enemy and his elite army, the Red Legion. Every player creates their own character called a “Guardian,” humanity’s chosen protectors. As a Guardian in Destiny 2, players must master new abilities and weapons to reunite the city’s forces, stand together and fight back to reclaim their home. The official Destiny 2 reveal trailer, “Rally the Troops,” shows two of the Vanguard, leaders of the Guardians, inspiring the people of the last city in an impassioned (and occasionally sarcastic) call to arms. In Destiny 2 players will answer this call, embarking on a fresh story filled with new destinations around our solar system to explore, and an expansive amount of activities to discover. There is something for almost every type of gamer in Destiny 2, including gameplay for solo, cooperative and competitive players set within a vast, evolving universe.

Destiny 2 will be available at a SRP of $59.99 USD. The product line-up will also feature the Destiny 2 – Game + Expansion Pass Bundle at $89.99 USD, the Destiny 2 – Digital Deluxe Edition featuring premium digital contentat $99.99 USD, the Limited Edition at $99.99 USD, and the Collector’s Edition, featuring a fully-wearable Destiny 2 – Frontier Bag, Expansion Pass, premium digital content and a Cabal-themed Collector’s Box for $249.99 USD.

Thimbleweed Park Now Available on Xbox One and PC

Terrible Toybox today announced that Thimbleweed Park, the new adventure game from Maniac Mansion creators Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, is now available digitally on Steam, GOG and Xbox One for $19.99.

The Thimbleweed Park Sheriff has formally closed the ongoing investigation into the dead body under the bridge citing lack of evidence, dwindling interest, and a desire to get home by 8:00pm to watch wrestling.

The murder victim is believed to be a European visitor with no ties to the local community. The unsolved murder is the latest in a series of suspicious events that include the sudden death of town founder Chuck Edmund and the mysterious disappearance of his brother, Franklin.

In the course of the investigation, the Thimbleweed Park Sheriff’s Department raised suspicions about two uninvited federal agents, disgraced entertainer Ransome the Clown, and pillow factory heiress Delores Edmund. Though their involvement has not been definitively ruled out, the Sheriff today insisted he sees no reason to waste further resources on a “dead-end-a-reno case.”

To participate in the Thimbleweed Park murder investigation, visit Steam, GOG, or Xbox One today.

Prey – Neuromod Research Division Video

In Prey, you’re mankind’s last – and only – hope. With the Typhon threatening to destroy humanity, you’ll need every edge you can get in order to fight the invasion. Check out the newly released video from the archives of the TranStar Research Team’s Neuromod Division for a look at some of the new powers you can “install” as part of your arsenal – along with how the entire system works.

Never mind the improvements to the Neural Modifier (or “Neuromod” for short) – including “smaller insertion points” on the rapid release needles that you literally jab into your eye. The real innovation is what this device can actually do: alter your neural circuitry in very potent ways. This isn’t just about enhancing your human abilities – like boosting you strength, speed, hacking skills and more – but also acquiring unique abilities that have been learned from the hostile Typhon aliens aboard Talos I.

Prey is set to launch on May 5th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
