Shaquille O’Neal on Cover of NBA 2K18 Legend Edition

2K announced today that NBA 2K18 Legend Edition will feature “The Diesel…The Big Aristotle…Superman…Shaq Daddy…” – Shaquille O’Neal on the cover. This special edition marks the third NBA 2K cover appearance for the recently inducted Hall of Famer.

Players that pre-order the NBA 2K18 Legend Edition will receive special Shaq memorabilia, in-game content, and Early Tip-Off Access beginning September 15th. Those that pre-order the NBA 2K18 Legend Edition Gold will receive even more, including Exclusive stickers and 20 Weekly MyTeam Packs.

Worms W.M.D. Receives Free Forts Mode Update

Team17 today announced that their turn-based strategy Worms W.M.D has received a free content update with the arrival of Forts Mode on PC. The free update will also be heading to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 soon.

The Forts Mode update includes:

  • All-new mode in which to take part in annelid warfare. Defend yourself in your unique fort as you wage battle against your opponents and try to infiltrate theirs.
  • 6 brand new forts: Castle Hassle, Donkey Dig, Reactor, Haunted, Pink Peril and Rocket.
  • New customisation rewards to adorn your worms with.
  • Brand new crafted weapon, the Magnetised Drone which was designed by a member of the Worms W.M.D community.
  • Bug fixes and tweaks.

RiME – Developer Diary #3

First Three Injustice 2 DLC Characters Revealed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today revealed a new trailer showcasing the first three DLC characters for Injustice 2 – Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero. Players will be able to battle it out with these icnoic fighters from the DC and Mortal Kombat Universes and utilize their unique moves and skill sets when they purchase the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition or the Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition. Injustice 2 will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One beginning May 16th. Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero are still in development and will be available for download after the game launches.

FlatOut 4: Total Insanity Races Onto Consoles Today

U&I Entertainment, in partnership with developer Kylotonn Games and publisher Strategy First, today announced that FlatOut 4: Total Insanity is now available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $49.99. Players will be able to competitively race against other players both online and offline on courses and arenas. The game also features customizable cars, destructible environments and dynamic tracks.

Seasons After Fall Coming to Consoles on May 16th

Previously available on PC, Swing Swing Submarine’s hand-drawn puzzle-adventure game Seasons After Fall is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16th.

As a wild fox, you are sent on a journey aided only by your ability to change the seasons at will. Winter freezes waterfalls, while the rain from Spring raises water levels. The Town of Light to Debut on Consoles in June

In partnership with developer LKA.it, indie publisher Wired Productions confirmed today that the first-person psychological adventure game The Town of Light will release on June 6th in physical and digital formats. Featuring numerous improvements and new supporting content for its console debut, The Town of Light is headed to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A live action trailer has been released alongside today’s announcement to highlight the story-driven game’s premise.
