Accel World vs. Sword Art Online Coming July 7th

Bandai Namco today announced that Accel World vs. Sword Art Online will be released digitally on July 7th for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

In addition to the ship date, Bandai Namco revealed the launch edition of Accel World vs. Sword Art Online, which will be available for a limited time. Fans who purchase the game within the first few weeks of launch will receive this special edition that includes 2 exclusive DLC packs – Ordinal Scale Pack and SAO Origins Pack.

For Honor Season Two, Shadow & Might, Available Now

Ubisoft today announced that For Honor Season Two, Shadow & Might, is now available on all platforms. Shadow & Might will bring new content to For Honor, including two additional heroes, two extra maps, new customization items for all heroes and gameplay updates. Maps and gameplay updates will be free for all players at the start of Season Two. Available now for season pass holders, the new heroes, the lethal Shinobi and the fierce Centurion, will be available for all players on May 23rd for 15,000 Steel each.

The For Honor team has made numerous improvements to hero balancing, gear, matchmaking, and network stability, and much more is planned for the coming weeks and months.

Shadow & Might brings a wealth of new content to For Honor, including:

• Shinobi (Samurai Assassin): The Shinobi are experts at maneuvering around the battlefield. Equipped with backflip, front roll, dodge cancel and super sprint abilities, Shinobi are hyper agile and mobile heroes. While their low health and difficulty performing defensive counters can leave them vulnerable, their agility and long-range attacks more than make up for their lack of defense. They wield the traditional Japanese kusarigama, a weapon composed of a sickle with a chain attached. With the ability to throw and retract their kusarigama and grab at a distance, Shinobi have the longest range of any hero.
• Centurion (Knight Hybrid): Centurions are close-quarters melee fighters that specialize in bypassing defenses and draining their opponent’s stamina. Their short range necessitates getting up close and personal to knock opponents off balance. Once enemies are staggered, the Centurion can punish them with a charged heavy and high damage jump attack. Equipped with the reliable standard-issue gladius, the Centurion is perfectly suited for getting in close and executing short-range combination attacks.
• New Maps: Season Two will also expand upon the selection of multiplayer maps with the inclusion of Forge and Temple Garden. Forge represents the might of Ashfeld and the brute force of the Knight war machine. The Temple Garden embodies the beauty and harmony of the Myre but has since been turned into a Samurai battlefield. Both maps are available in all multiplayer modes.
• Gear Overhaul: Shadow & Might revamps the gear system by addressing stats that are not useful or made redundant by other stats, while ensuring that no one statistical category is too powerful and thereby eliminating overpowered builds. The presentation of gear stats will also change as players comparing gear can now see the specific percentage increases in individual categories.
• Epic Level Gear: Coinciding with the gear system makeover comes an entirely new level of gear, Epic gear, which increases the maximum gear score from 108 to 144.
• Expanded Faction War: With Season One of the Faction War coming down to the wire between the Vikings and Samurai, the Faction War map will see changes with the introduction of nine new territories into the cross-platform metagame. With honor, pride and exclusive in-game rewards on the line, the twelve-week Faction War decides which faction is truly superior.

Injustice 2 Now Available

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced that Injustice 2, the sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, is available now for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Injustice 2 features a massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains and allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters.

Injustice 2 continues the story set in motion in Injustice: Gods Among Us, beginning in a fractured universe where bonds are broken and every alliance is thrown into war. Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together, but struggle against those who would restore Superman’s Regime. In the midst of this chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s very existence at risk. Players will decide where their loyalties lie and have the ability to personalize iconic DC characters with unique and powerful gear earned throughout the game.

Team17 to Publish Yoku’s Island Express

Team17 and Swedish developer Villa Gorilla today announced that the pinball platform game Yoku’s Island Express has joined Team17’s games label. Yoku’s Island Express is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2018.

Meet our hero Yoku the Dung Beetle who has arrived on Mokumana Island to relieve the resident pterodactyl postmaster of his duties. He’s ready for the easy life, soaking up the sun and delivering parcels on a tropical paradise. However, he’ll quickly discover that an ancient Island deity is trapped in a restless sleep, and a host of islanders are plagued by quakes and storms brought forth by its nightmares. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Delayed to 2018

Bandai Namco today announced that Ace Cobmat 7: Skies Unknown is moving its launch to 2018. A personal note from Kazutoki Kono, Franchise Director for the Ace Combat franchise, provides more details on the launch date change.

Harvest Moon Coming to Switch, PC and PS4

In celebration of Harvest Moon’s 20th anniversary, Natsume and Rising Star Games today announced an all-new title, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope. The new game will encompass twenty years of spirit that has made the franchise what it is today, and will be available on Nintendo Switch, Steam, and PlayStation 4. This is the first time the Harvest Moon brand will be on Steam and the Nintendo Switch.

In Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, players begin the game as they set out looking for a fresh start and new surroundings. During their voyage, their ship is hit by a monsoon and goes down. As they drift into a small harbor town, now in a shambles from the storm, it will be up to the player to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse…but it won’t be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, players will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town!

Battlestar Galactica Deadlock Announced

Slitherine and Black Lab Games, in partnership with Universal, today announced the upcoming release of Battlestar Galactica Deadlock, available on PC and consoles this summer. In the new game, based on the sci-fi universe produced by Universal and aired on SYFY for four seasons, players will be able to build their fleet, fight tactical battles, and strategically defend the Twelve Colonies during the First Cylon War.

Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is a strategy game that also features a strong narrative with an extensive cast of characters, both new and from the existing lore. Fans will find all their favorite ships from Vipers, Raptors and Battlestars, to Cylon Raiders and Basestars, in addition to a brand-new range of ships designed exclusively for the game.

Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is set to release this summer on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Turtle Beach Adds Two New Headsets to 2017 Lineup

Turtle Beach today revealed two new models for its 2017 lineup of gaming headsets for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Similar in style to the company’s XO Four Stealth, the new XO Three officially licensed gaming headset for Xbox One and Recon 150 offer the same design as their predecessor, with 50mm speakers and high-sensitivity mic. The XO Three and Recon 150 are planned to launch at participating retailers this July for a MSRP of $69.95 USD, with the Recon 150 headset available only at Best Buy in the U.S.

Dreadnought Open Beta Now Live on PC

Grey Box, Six Foot and indie developer Yager today announced the launch of the PC open beta of the class-based spaceship action game Dreadnought. New captains can download the game and play in open beta now by visiting www.Dreadnought.com. Dreadnought’s open beta is free-to-play, but players can purchase specialized Hero Ships, experience boosts and cosmetic add-ons for their vessels.

Open beta introduces Ixion, Dreadnought’s biggest map yet. Situated in space 60,000 kilometers above Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, this new battleground forces players to maneuver around the colossal orbital ring that dominates its center. Narrow gaps within the superstructure allow ships to cross from one side to the other, but players must be wary of what dangers lurk on the other side. Open beta also adds night variations for two existing maps: Rings of Saturn and Red Sands.

Dreadnought will continue to receive new content, features, balancing and more with regular updates guided by community feedback throughout open beta. The game is also currently in closed beta on the PlayStation 4, which players can sign up for at www.dreadnought.com/ps4.
