Gambitious Digital Entertainment and indie developer Sobaka Studio today released the top-down action game Redeemer on PC via Steam for $14.99. Redeemer is a close-quarters brawler designed for fans of the genre, featuring a story-driven single-player campaign and challenging Arena Mode that pits players against hordes of enemies.
EA and Respawn Entertainment today announced the release of the Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition, available now for digital download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Origin for PC. With the Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition, players will get access to all the content from the Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition, including Scorch and Ion Prime Titans, Titan Warpaints, and more. Fans will also receive the brand-new Jump Start Pack that unlocks all Titans and Pilot Tacticals, 500 tokens to redeem on loadouts, cosmetics, and gear, ten 2XP tokens, and the Underground R-201 Carbine Warpaint. In addition to all the content included in the Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition, players will also be able to download all Titanfall 2 post-launch DLC for free.
Controller support as well as co-op splitscreen mode has been confirmed for Divinity: Original Sin 2. In a new Kickstarter update video, spell and rune crafting have also been detailed.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 launches on Steam on September 14th.
Today at FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) Live, EA Sports revealed Stories for FUT Icons in FIFA 18 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Stories expand the Icons experience, giving players a chance to find up to three unique versions of some of the greatest players of all time for their FUT squads. As part of today’s reveal, EA Sports also announced that the legendary Ronaldinho will be joining the lineup as an Icon. He joins previously revealed Icons like Pele, Ronaldo Nazario, Thierry Henry, Lev Yashin, and Diego Maradona, as well as several other stars such as Rui Costa, Patrick Vieira and many more who were unveiled today.
Ronaldinho’s Icon Stories will highlight three distinct points in his storied career; Ronaldinho in 2002 when he was a member of Paris St. Germain and on his way to winning the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan for Brazil; Ronaldinho in 2010, when he brought home the title for Milan in his final season with the club; and prime Ronaldinho, a version from 2004 when he dominated La Liga, and secured top honors as the FIFA World Player of the Year.
Kalypso Media and Daedalic Entertainment today announced that Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, bringing the real-time stealth tactics title to consoles for the first time. Set in the Edo period of ancient Japan, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is a tactical stealth game in which players control five unique characters, using their skills to complete missions without getting caught.
Grey Box, Six Foot and indie developer YAGER have launched Dreadnought, the class-based spaceship action game, into free-to-play open beta for all users on the PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation®Store. The console-exclusive Hactar Hero Ship, a new ShareFactory theme, and two dynamic themes for the title are also available for free today through the PlayStation Store.
In addition to the maps featured in closed beta, the PlayStation 4 open beta of Dreadnought introduces two game maps new to consoles and six bonus night map variations. It includes four game types: Team Deathmatch, Team Elimination, Training, and Havoc modes. Havoc is a cooperative mode exclusive to PlayStation 4 in which three players attempt to survive as long as possible against progressively tougher waves of enemies using ships they select and upgrade over the course of each match.
Now updated for current generation consoles, Resident Evil Revelations is the survival horror title featuring series veterans Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they investigate the reportedly abandoned “Queen Zenobia” cruise ship. This new version features a smoother 1920×1080 resolution, an improved framerate, increased environmental detail and refined creature movement. All previously released DLC is also included in the game as unlockable rewards.
Resident Evil Revelations launches at retail and digitally on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 29th for $19.99. A Nintendo Switch release of both Resident Evil Revelations and its follow-up Resident Evil Revelations 2 will also be available in Late 2017.
