Team17 and Mouldy Toof Studios have released a new trailer for The Escapists 2 with a focus on transport prisons, one of the new features of this sequel.
The new trailer showcases 3 of the 10 prisons within the game, which share a unique twist, all 3 are different types of prisoner transport vehicles. Inmates will need to act quick and employ their stealth skills if they’re to escape the new timed prisons, which feature a variety of transit methods for the pixelated prisoners.
The Escapists 2 will be available on August 22nd for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam, with a Nintendo Switch version to follow.

MunkyFun today revealed it is bringing its League of War strategy game franchise to PlayStation VR exclusively with the new arena-based arcade war game, League of War: VR Arena. In the action-oriented strategy game, players will fight short, intense battles against human or AI opponents, vying to lead their side to victory by physically placing and aiming units on the arena battlefield to destroy the opposing army’s towers and base. League of War: VR Arena will be available this fall.
Indie developer Fair Weather Studios has announced their new turn-based strategy game, Ancient Frontier, will launch on September 21st for PC via Steam. Ancient Frontier is a sci-fi turn-based strategy with RPG elements that sets players off on a story-driven single player experience.
Ancient Frontier features two full story driven campaigns featuring full voice over, tactical turn-based combat, and RPG elements. Set in the same universe as Fair Weather’s previous title Bladestar, set forth into galactic conflict based in the frontier far removed from the comforts of the core systems. Corporations actively war against each other, Raiders pillage and burn easy targets, and the federation seeks to instill law and order in the midst of it all.
For the first time, Destiny 2 will be available for PC on October 24th via Battle.net, Blizzard Entertainment’s online gaming service.
Beginning August 29th, players worldwide are invited to experience Destiny 2 on PC, including the opening story mission, ‘Homecoming’, along with cooperative and competitive modes. All who pre-order Destiny 2 can jump into the action with early access to the beta on August 28th.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a new video for Middle-earth: Shadow of War, showcasing the Terror tribe, a faction of Orcs who specialize in spreading fear throughout Mordor. In Shadow of War, Orcs now belong to tribes, which extend their influence stemming from the Overlords ruling the mighty fortresses throughout the open world, providing a rich ecosystem of missions, exploration and a dynamic Orc society with diverse Orc cultures, all brought to life through the expanded Nemesis System. As master tormentors, the Terror tribe rely on their infamous reputations to inspire fear among their enemies.
