The expansion pack allows players to experience the cuddly companionship and delightful surprises cats and dogs will bring into their Sims’ daily lives. The all new Create A Pet tool provides players with the ability to create and design their perfect pet. Choose from an expansive variety of cat and dog breeds or mix multiple breeds to create something truly unique. Customize furry friends’ coats with crazy patterns or match the spots and stripes of an in-game pet to a real-life pet. For the first time ever, special outfits and accessories will also be available to finish off the look, and tailored personality traits ensure no two pets are alike inside-or-out.

THQ Nordic today announced that it has acquired 100% of the shares from the five founders of Black Forest Games. Also, an asset purchase agreement with Black Forest Games was concluded to acquire the intellectual properties “Giana Sisters”, “Helldorado” and “Rogue Stormers”, which will be now part of the THQ Nordic portfolio of IPs and franchises.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a new trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, taking viewers on a journey through the Open Hub World of Chronopolis. The video spotlights a myriad of iconic Marvel locations, all ripped from time and space to form one huge open world for players to roam and explore, from the mythical land of Asgard and deep space base of Knowhere, to the vibrant jungle of Wakanda and the pyramids of Ancient Egypt. Other Marvel settings revealed in the trailer include the Coliseum, Hala, Hydra Empire, K’un-lun, Lemuria, Manhattan, Medieval England, Noir New York, Nueva York, Old West and The Swamp, which will be joined by Attilan, Kang’s Citadel and Xandar to make up sprawling open world that is Chronopolis.

Electronic Arts and the National Football League announced the launch of the Madden NFL Club Championship, a landmark competitive gaming and esports event within the Madden NFL Championship Series involving all 32 NFL Clubs. With involvement from every club across the League, this is the largest competitive gaming commitment ever by a U.S. professional sports league, and competition begins in less than 24 hours with the launch of Madden NFL 18 G.O.A.T Edition for Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on August 22nd.
